본 고안은 랏셀 크로쳇편기에 관한 것으로 보다 구체적으로는 경사에 비하여 상대적으로 굵은 위사를 스파이럴형태로 수회 램핑시켜서 장식효과가 큰 레이스를 편성할 수 있는 위첨사 램핑가이드를 가진 랏셀 크로쳇편기를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
일반적으로 랏셀 크로쳇편기는 게이지를 낮추게 되면 굵은 위첨사를 사용할 수 있으므로 편조직을 다양화할 수 있으며, 랏셀 편기들 중 큰 변화편을 만들 수 있고, 일반 랏셀의 초피 바아(dhopper bar)편과 비슷한 편조직으로 편성할 수 있는 것으로 알려져 있다.
본 고안은 상기한 바와 같은 랏셀 크로쳇편기의 일반적인 특징을 이용한 것인바, 수평방향으로 전, 후방하는 편침 위에, 이 편침의 상부에서 전,후진 및 좌,우로 운동하는 2매의 위첨사 랩핑가이드를 설치하여서 위첨사가 스파이럴형태로 3회 랩핑될 수 있도록 한 것이다.
본 고안을 이하 예시도면에 의하여 더욱 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 고안은 제1도에 예시된 바와 같이 수평방향으로 전,후진하는 편침(N) 및 쇄편을 만드는 경사가이드(G)와 위첨사 튜브(T)를 가진 통상의 랏셀 크로쳇편기에 있어서, 편침(N)위에 제1위첨사 램핑가이드(10)와 제2위첨사 램핑가이드(11)를 편침(N)의 운동방향에 대하여 전, 후진 또는 전, 후진 및 좌, 우로 운동되게 설치한 것이다.
편침(N) 및 제1위첨사 랩핑가이드(10)와 제2위첨사 랩핑가이드(11)들은 위첨사튜브(T)로 공급되는 위첨사(WT)가 감겨질 수 있는 공간을 사이에 두고 포개어져 있다.
제1,2위첨사 랩핑가이드(10), (11)는 편침바아(B)와 동일하게 도시가 생략된 편기의 주축과 편심운동수단에 의해 동작되는 제1,2가이드바아(12), (13)에 그 한쪽끝이 고정되어 있으며, 상기 가이드바아(12), (13)들은 편침바아(B)와 함께, 전, 후진은 물론 통상의 운동수단에 의해서 전, 후진 및 좌, 우 운동을 실시할 수 있도록 되어 있다.
도면중 미설명부호 WP는 경사이고, C는 경사(WP)에 의한 쇄편조직이다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 고안의 작용효과를 설명하면 다음과 같다. 본 고안은 수평방향으로 전, 후진하는 편침(N)위에 위첨사(WT)가 감겨질 수 있는 공간을 사이에 두고 제1,2 위첨사 랩핑가이드(10),(11)가 전, 후진 및 좌, 우 운동 또는 전, 후진 운동을 실시하는 것이기 때문에 제2도 (a), (b)에 예시된 바와 같이 위첨사(WT)가 스파이럴 형태로 3회 랩팽된 커텐용레이스(R1), (R2)를 만들 수 있다.
제2도 (가)에 도시된 레이스(R1)는 2본의 편침을 사용한 것으로서, 편침(N)이 전, 후진 운동할 때 제1,2위첨사 램핑가이드(10),(11)를 전, 후진 및 좌, 우 운동시키면서 만든 것이고, 제2도 (나0에 도시된 레이스(R2)는 1본의 편침을 사용한 것으로서, 편침(N)이 전, 후진 운동할때 제1, 2 위첨사 랩핑가이드(10), (11)를 전, 후진 운동시키면서 만든 것이다.
상기 레이스(R1), (R2)에서 첫번째 스파이럴(a)은 편침(N)에 의해서, 두번째 스파이럴(b)은 제1위첨사 랩핑가이드(10)에 의해서, 세번째 스파이럴(c)은 제2위첨사 랩핑가이드(11)의 작동에 의해서 각각 형성된 것이다.
이와 같은 본 고안은 경사 (WP)에 비하여 훨씬 굵은 위첨사(WT)를 스파이럴 형태로 3회 랩핑시키면서 레이스를 편성하는 것이기 때문에 볼륨감이 풍부하고, 장식효과가 큰 커텐 및 테이블로 또는 의류의 장식용레이스를 만들 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  1. 편침(N) 및 경사가이드(G)와 위첨사튜브(T)를 가진 통상의 랏셀 크로쳇편기에 있어서, 편침(N)위에 일정한 간격으로 제1위첨사 랩핑가이드(10)와 제2위첨사 랩핑가이드(11)를 2단으로 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 랏셀 크로쳇편기.
