Claims (14)

  1. 에텐을 하나 이상의 알파 올레핀과 올리고머화 조건하에서 양이온과 반응할 수 있는 치환체를 갖는 비스(시클로펜타디에닐)IVA족 금속 화합물인 제1성분과 다수의 붕소 원자를 가지며, 반응조건하에서 실질적으로 비결합적인 부피가 큰 음이온과 양이온을 갖는 화합물인 제2성분의 조합물로 구성되는 촉매 시스템의 존재하에 반응시키고, 선형 올레핀으로 구성되는 올리고머 생성물을 회수함으로 구성되는 선형 올레핀의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 알파 올레핀 코모노머는 1-부텐이 포함되는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 1-부텐은 에텐 올리고머화 방법으로 부터 유도되는 C4올레핀 획분으로 부터 유도되는 방법.
  4. 제1 내지 3항중 한 항에 있어서, 올리고머화는 20내지 175℃범위내의 온도에서 수행되는 방법.
  5. 제1 내지 4항중 한 항에 있어서, 올리고머화는 1내지 100바아 범위내의 압력에서 수행되는 방법.
  6. 제1 내지 5항중 한 항에 있어서, 올리고머화 조건은 0.3내지 0.8범위의 K인자를 갖는 올레핀 생성물을 생성하도록 선택하는 방법.
  7. 제1 내지 6항중 한 항에 있어서, 알파 올레핀 코모노머에 대한 에텐의 비율은 코모노머 몰당 에텐 0.1 내지 100몰 범위 내인 방법.
  8. 제1 내지 7항중 한 항에 있어서, 촉매 시스템의 제1성분은 일반식(Cp)2MR1R2화합물로, 각 Cp기는 동일 또는 상이한 것으로서 치환된 또는 비치환된 시클로펜타디에닐기를 나타내고, M은 IVA족 금속원자를 나타내고, R1과 R2는 동일 또는 상이한 것으로서 각각이 수소원자 또는 치환된 또는 비치환된 하이드로 카르빌기를 나타내는 것인 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, M은 지르코늄 또는 하프늄인방법.
  10. 제8 또는 제9항에 있어서, 각 Cp기는 비치환된 시클로펜타디에닐기 또는 펜타메틸시클로펜타디에닐기를 나타내고 R1및 R2는 각 알킬기의 방법.
  11. 제1항 내지 10항중 한 항에 있어서, 촉매 시스템의 제2성분은 실질적으로 비결합적인 음이온인 카르보란 음이온으로 구성되는 방법.
  12. 제1항 내지 11항중 한 항에 있어서, 촉매 시스템의 제2성분은 양자 생성 양이온으로 구성되는 방법.
  13. 제11항 및 12항에 있어서, 촉매 시스템의 제2성분은 트리알킬 암모늄 카르보란으로, 카르보란 음이온은 구조식 B11CH12-로 표시되는 방법.
  14. 제1항 내지 13항중 한항의 방법에 의해 제조되는 선형 올레핀.
