본고안은 프리즘 컷(Prism cut)을 하지 않은 전면 렌즈와 비구면 평 오목렌즈 및 비포물 반사기로 구성되는 자동차용 전조등(HEAD LAMP)에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a HEAD LAMP for automobile, which is composed of a front lens without a prism cut, an aspherical flat concave lens, and a non-parabolic reflector.
종래의 자동차용 전조등(9)은 이중 필라멘트(10), (10')로 된 할로겐 전구(11)와 비교적 큰 반사기(12)로 구성되고 전면렌즈(13)에는 프리즘 컷(14)을 하여 일정규격의 빔 패턴(Beam pattem)이 형성되게 한것이므로 빔 패턴 형성에 소요되는 프리즘 컷의 수와 방향때문에 전면렌즈(13)의 면적이 일정크기 이상이어야 하고 따라서 전조등(9)의 크기도 일정이하로 축소 할수 없으며 전면렌즈(13)의 경사각도는 일정각도 앞쪽으로 기울어져 있어 공기 저항을 많이 받으며 로우빔(Low Beam) 상태에서는 대향 차량 운전자의 시계 방해가 되지 않도록 컷 오프라인(cut off Line) (15)이 형성되도록 하고 있으나 전면렌즈(13)에서 프리즘 컷(14)에 의한 난반사등으로 인하여 정확한 로우 빔 패턴의 형성이 어려워 대향 운전자의 시계 보호가 미흡할뿐 아니라 국가마다 상이한 컷 오프라인(15) 때문에 그에 따라 여러가지 규격의 모델이 개발되어야 하며 렌즈에 프리즘 컷을 형성하기 위한 설계 작업에 많은 인력과 시간이 소모되는 등의 문제가 있는 것이었다.The conventional automotive headlight 9 is composed of a halogen bulb 11 of double filaments 10, 10 'and a relatively large reflector 12, and a prism cut 14 on the front lens 13, which is fixed.
