Claims (11)
- 복수의 배터리 셀들; 및
상기 복수의 배터리 셀들을 수용하는 모듈 케이스;를 포함하고,
상기 모듈 케이스는
각각 내부에 냉각수가 흐를 수 있는 유로를 구비하고, 상기 복수의 배터리 셀들의 상부에 배치되는 상판부와 상기 복수의 배터리 셀들의 하부에 배치되는 하판부를 포함하고,
상기 상판부와 상기 하판부는 상기 복수의 배터리 셀들과 대면하는 제1 플레이트에 열 용융될 수 있는 멜팅 스팟을 구비하고,
상기 상판부는 상기 제1 플레이트와 마주하는 제2 플레이트에 외부로 가스 방출이 가능한 벤팅구와 상기 벤팅구를 밀봉하되 열 용융 가능한 소재로 형성된 제1 실링 캡을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 벤팅구는 메쉬 구조로 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 벤팅구는 상기 제2 플레이트에서 상기 유로를 따라 일 영역에 걸쳐 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 상판부와 상기 하판부는 상기 제1 플레이트와 상기 제2 플레이트 사이에 유로가 형성되어 있는 히트싱크로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 히트싱크는 상기 제1 플레이트와 상기 제2 플레이트가 알루미늄(A1) 재질인 것 또는 상기 제1 플레이트는 알루미늄(Al) 재질이고 상기 제2 플레이트는 스틸(Steel) 재질로 이종 접합된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 멜팅 스팟은 상기 상판부에 마련되는 제1 멜팅 스팟과, 상기 하판부에 마련되는 제2 멜팅 스팟을 포함하고,
상기 제1 멜팅 스팟과 상기 제2 멜팅 스팟은 적어도 하나의 상기 배터리 셀을 가운데 두고 상하로 대칭된 위치에 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 멜팅 스팟은 상기 제1 플레이트의 두께 방향으로 형성된 관통구와, 상기 관통구를 밀봉하되 열 용융 가능한 소재로 형성된 제2 실링 캡으로 구성되고,
상기 유로를 따라 소정의 간격마다 마련된 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 제2 실링 캡은,
상기 관통구에 개재되는 몸체; 및 상기 제1 플레이트의 상면과 하면을 감싸도록 상기 몸체의 상단과 하단에서 각각 수평하게 연장 형성되는 탑 플랜지와 바틈 플랜지를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 탑 플랜지와 상기 바틈 플랜지는 서로 대향하는 방향으로 돌출된 하나 이상의 돌기를 구비하고,
상기 제1 플레이트는 상기 돌기와 형합하는 형상의 홈부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 돌기는 단면 형상이 삼각형, 사다리꼴형, 사각형 및 반원형 중 어느 하나의 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 배터리 모듈. - 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 배터리 모듈을 하나 이상 포함하는 배터리 팩.
