Claims (24)
- 에어로졸 발생 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 카트리지로,
액체 에어로졸 형성 기재를 보유하기 위한 하우징을 포함하는 액체 저장부를 포함하고, 여기서 상기 액체 저장부는 서로 유체 연통하고 있는 적어도 2개의 부분을 포함하되, 상기 액체 저장부의 제1 부분은
- 히터 조립체,
- 상기 히터 조립체와 접촉하여 제공되어 있는 제1 모세관 물질,
- 상기 제1 모세관 물질과 접촉하며 상기 제1 모세관 물질에 의해 상기 히터 조립체로부터 이격되어 있는 제2 모세관 물질을 포함하고,
상기 액체 저장부의 제2 부분은 에어로졸 형성 기재를 액체 형태로 보유하고 상기 액체를 상기 제2 모세관 물질에 공급하기 위한 용기를 포함하는, 카트리지. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 액체 저장부는 개구부를 포함하고, 상기 히터 조립체는 상기 하우징의 개구부를 가로질러서 연장되어 있는, 카트리지.
- 에어로졸 발생 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 카트리지로,
액체 에어로졸 형성 기재를 보유하기 위한 하우징을 포함하는 액체 저장부를 포함하되, 상기 하우징은 개구부를 포함하고,
여기서 상기 액체 저장부는 서로 유체 연통하고 있는 적어도 2개의 부분을 포함하되, 상기 액체 저장부의 제1 부분은
- 상기 하우징의 개구부 부근에 제공되어 있는 제1 모세관 물질,
- 상기 제1 모세관 물질과 유체 접촉하며 상기 제1 모세관 물질에 의해 상기 개구부로부터 이격되어 있는 제2 모세관 물질을 포함하고,
상기 액체 저장부의 제2 부분은 에어로졸 형성 기재를 액체 형태로 보유하고 상기 액체를 상기 제2 모세관 물질에 공급하기 위한 용기를 포함하는, 카트리지. - 제3항에 있어서, 상기 하우징의 개구부를 가로질러서 연장되어 있는 유체 투과성 히터 조립체를 더 포함하는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 모세관 물질의 평균 기공 크기 또는 기공도는 상기 제2 모세관 물질의 평균 기공 크기 또는 기공도보다 적은, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 모세관 물질은 0.1 내지 50㎛ 사이, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 10㎛ 사이, 가장 바람직하게는 약 4㎛의 섬유 크기 또는 기공 크기를 가지는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 모세관 물질은 2g/ml 아래, 바람직하게는 약 0.5g/ml의 밀도를 가지는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 모세관 물질은 1 내지 100㎛ 사이, 바람직하게는 15 내지 40㎛ 사이, 가장 바람직하게는 약 25㎛의 섬유 크기 또는 기공 크기를 가지는, 카트리지.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제2 모세관 물질은 1g/ml 아래, 바람직하게는 0.1과 0.3g/ml 사이의 밀도를 가지는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 모세관 물질 또는 상기 제2 모세관 물질은 상기 하우징에서 압축되어 그의 유효 기공 크기가 감소되는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 모세관 물질 및 상기 제2 모세관 물질은 동일한 모세관 물질 요소의 상이한 영역들을 포함하는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하우징 내에 놓일 때 상기 모세관 물질의 압축은 상기 모세관 물질의 기공 크기 또는 기공도가 상기 히터 조립체를 향해서 연속적으로 감소하도록 하는 것인, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 모세관 물질은 연속적인 물질 조각으로부터 일체형으로 형성된 것이어서, 상기 요소의 일 말단에서의 단면이 증가되는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 하우징의 내부 표면은 원형 단면을 가지는 보통의 원통 형태로 형상화되어 있고 상기 모세관 물질의 조각은 원뿔체의 형상을 가지는, 카트리지.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 모세관 물질은 원형 단면을 가지는 보통의 원통 형상을 가지고, 여기서 상기 하우징의 내부 표면은 상기 개구부 말단에서 테이퍼부를 포함해서, 상기 모세관 물질의 상기 하우징 내로의 삽입 즉시 상기 모세관 물질이 이러한 테이퍼부에 의해 압축되는, 카트리지.
- 에어로졸 발생 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 카트리지로,

- 제16항 또는 제17항에 있어서, 상기 액체 저장부는 서로 유체 연통하는 적어도 2개의 부분을 포함하되,
상기 액체 저장부의 제1 부분은 상기 모세관 물질을 포함하고, 상기 액체 저장부의 제2 부분은 에어로졸 형성 기재를 액체 형태로 보유하고 상기 액체를 상기 모세관 물질의 더 높은 기공도 또는 기공 크기 영역에 공급하기 위한 용기를 포함하는, 카트리지. - 에어로졸 발생 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 카트리지의 제조 방법으로,
- 제1 부분 및 제2 부분을 가지는 하우징을 포함하는 액체 저장부를 제공하는 단계,
- 히터 조립체를 제공하는 단계,
- 제1 모세관 물질을 상기 액체 저장부의 상기 하우징의 제1 부분 내에 배치해서 제1 모세관 물질이 상기 히터 조립체와 직접 접촉하여 제공되는 단계,
- 제2 모세관 물질을 상기 액체 저장부의 상기 하우징의 제1 부분 내에 배치해서 상기 제2 모세관 물질이 상기 제1 모세관 물질과 접촉하고 상기 제1 모세관 물질에 의해 상기 히터 조립체로부터 이격되는 단계를 포함하고,
여기서 상기 액체 저장부의 제2 부분은 실질적으로 비어 있고 에어로졸 형성 기재를 액체 형태로 보유하기에 적합한, 방법. - 제19항에 있어서, 상기 모세관 물질의 일부분은 하우징 내에 삽입 동안 또는 그 전에 압축되어 상기 모세관 물질의 일부분의 기공도 또는 기공 크기가 감소하게 되는, 방법.
- 에어로졸 발생 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 카트리지의 제조 방법으로,
- 하우징을 포함하는 액체 저장부를 제공하는 단계,
- 히터 조립체를 제공하는 단계,
- 모세관 물질을 상기 액체 저장부의 상기 하우징 내에 배치해서 상기 모세관 물질이 상기 히터 조립체와 직접 접촉하여 제공되는 단계를 포함하고,
여기서 상기 방법은 상기 하우징 내에 배치하는 동안 또는 그 전에 상기 모세관 물질의 일부분을 압축해서 상기 모세관 물질의 일부분의 기공도 또는 기공 크기가 감소되는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제1항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 카트리지를 포함하는, 에어로졸 발생 시스템.
