Claims (23)
- 흡연가능(smokable) 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록(volatilize) 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치로서,
흡연가능 재료를 포함하는 물품의 적어도 일 부분을 수용하도록 구성된 가열기 구역(heater zone);
가변 자기장(varying magnetic field)을 생성하도록 구성된 자기장 생성기; 및
상기 가열기 구역 주위에서 적어도 부분적으로 배치되고, 상기 가변 자기장으로 관통됨으로써 가열 가능하여 이로써 상기 가열기 구역을 가열하는 가열기 재료를 포함하는 세장형 가열기 요소를 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 가열기 구역은 상기 가열기 요소에 의해 규정되고,
상기 가열기 구역에는, 가변 자기장으로 관통됨으로써 가열 가능한 어떠한 가열기 재료도 없는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 가열기 요소는, 상기 가열기 구역을 둘러싸는 튜브형(tubular) 가열기 요소인,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 가열기 요소를 둘러싸는 단열의 질량체(mass)를 더 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 자기장 생성기는 코일, 및 상기 코일을 통해 가변 전류를 통과시키도록 구성된 디바이스를 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제5 항에 있어서,
상기 코일은 상기 가열기 요소를 둘러싸는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 코일과 상기 가열기 요소 사이에 배치된 단열의 질량체를 더 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제7 항에 있어서,
상기 단열은, 독립-기포(closed-cell) 재료, 독립-기포 플라스틱 재료, 에어로겔, 진공 절연, 실리콘 발포재, 고무 재료, 충전재(wadding), 플리스(fleece), 부직(non-woven) 재료, 부직 플리스, 직물 재료, 편물(knitted) 재료, 나일론, 발포재, 폴리스티렌, 폴리에스테르, 폴리에스테르 필라멘트, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리에스테르와 폴리프로필렌의 혼합물(blend), 아세트산 셀룰로오스, 종이, 카드, 및 골판(corrugated) 재료로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 하나 또는 그 초과의 단열재들(thermal insulators)을 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 코일을 둘러싸는 단열의 질량체를 더 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
약 1 내지 약 3밀리미터의 갭이, 상기 코일의 최내부(innermost) 표면과 상기 가열기 요소의 최외부(outermost) 표면 사이에 규정되는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제5 항에 있어서,
상기 코일은, 상기 세장형 가열기 요소의 길이방향 축선과 실질적으로 정렬되는 길이방향 축선을 따라 연장되는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제5 항에 있어서,
상기 코일의 임피던스(impedance)는 상기 가열기 요소의 임피던스와 동일하거나 실질적으로 동일한,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 가열기 요소의 외부 표면은 0.1 또는 그 미만의 열 방사율(thermal emissivity)을 갖는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,

상기 가열기 재료는: 전기-전도성 재료, 자기 재료, 및 비-자기 재료로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 하나 또는 그 초과의 재료들을 포함하는,
흡연가능 재료의 적어도 하나의 성분을 휘발시키도록 흡연가능 재료를 가열하도록 구성된 장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 가열기 재료는 금속 또는 금속 합금을 포함하는,

상기 가열기 구역과 유체 연통하는 통로를 규정하는 마우스피스를 더 포함하고,
