Claims (33)
- 변형된 모노비전을 제공하기 위해서 대상체의 제 1 및 제 2 눈 각각에 이식되도록 구성되는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈로서,
상기 제 1 렌즈는 0 내지 2.0 디옵터(D) 또는 0 내지 2.5 디옵터(D) 범위 내에서 피사체 양안전도를 갖는 양의 피사계 심도를 갖도록 구성되며, 상기 제 1 렌즈는 φ(r) = a + br2 + cr4 + dr6 + er8로 규정되는 방사 승수 프로파일을 제공하도록 성형되며, r은 광학축으로부터 반경 거리이고 a, b, c, d 및 e는 0이 아닌 계수이고;
상기 제 2 렌즈는 -2.0 내지 0.0 디옵터(D) 또는 -2.5 내지 0.0 디옵터(D) 범위 내에서 피사체 양안전도를 갖는 음의 피사계 심도를 갖도록 구성되며, 상기 제 2 렌즈는 φ(r) = a' + b'r2 + c'r4 + d'r6 + e'r8로 규정되는 방사 승수 프로파일을 제공하도록 성형되며, r은 광축으로부터 반경 거리이고 a ', b', c ', d' 및 e '은 0이 아닌 계수이고,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈에 대한 방사 승수 프로파일은 상이하며,
그 결과 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈가 각각 대상체의 제 1 및 제 2 눈에 이식될 때, 상기 제 1 렌즈의 양의 피사계 심도는 상기 대상체에게 보다 근거리 피사체 방향으로 확장된 피사계 심도를 제공하고, 그리고 상기 제 2 렌즈의 음의 피사계 심도는 상기 대상체에게 보다 원거리 피사체 방향으로 확장된 피사계 심도를 제공하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈. - 제 1 항에 있어서,

- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 렌즈는 투명한 물질을 포함하고, 상기 제 1 렌즈는 전방 표면 및 후방 표면을 가지며, 상기 전방 표면은 비구면 표면을 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 렌즈의 상기 전방 및 후방 표면은, 상기 제 1 렌즈가 구경이 4 내지 6 밀리미터(선택적으로 4mm 및 선택적으로 6mm) 크기인 모델 눈에 삽입될 때, 0 내지 2.0 디옵터(D) 또는 0 내지 2.5 디옵터(D)의 범위내에서 최소 90%의 피사체 양안전도에 대해 밀리미터 당 100라인에서 0.1 및 0.4 사이의 평균 MTF(modulation transfer function) 수치를 제공하도록 성형되며, 상기 제 1 렌즈의 상기 평균 MTF 수치는, 축의 피사체에 대한 명순응 시감도 함수(photopic luminosity function)에 의해 가중된 400 내지 700 nm의 파장에 걸쳐 적분된 밀리미터 당 100 라인에서 MTF 수치를 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 렌즈 및 상기 제 2 렌즈의 상기 MTF 수치는 상기 제 1 렌즈 및 상기 제 2 렌즈가 상기 모델 눈에 유수정체 배치(phakic configuration)로 삽입될 때 제공되는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,

- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 하나 또는 둘 모두는 햅틱부(haptic portion)를 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 하나 또는 둘 모두는 광학축을 가지며, 상기 광학축을 따라 100 내지 700 마이크로미터 사이의 두께를 갖는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 하나 또는 둘 모두는 광학축을 가지며, 상기 광학축을 따라 700 마이크로미터 내지 4 밀리미터 사이의 두께를 갖는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 하나 또는 둘 모두는 상기 광학축을 따라 700 마이크로미터 내지 2 밀리미터 사이의 두께를 갖는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 렌즈는 대상체의 우세안(dominant eye)에 이식되도록 구성되고 (adapted to), 상기 제 2 렌즈는 대상체의 비-우세안(non-dominant eye)에 이식되도록 구성된(adapted to), 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 렌즈는 원거리 시력을 교정하도록 구성되고, 상기 제 2 렌즈는 근거리 시력을 교정하도록 구성되는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 적어도 하나는 회전 대칭(rotationally symmetric)인 전방 표면을 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈 중 적어도 하나는 코닉(conic) 또는 바이코닉(biconic) 항을 포함하는 형상을 갖는 전방 표면을 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 26 항에 있어서,
상기 전방 표면은 코닉(conic) 또는 바이코닉(biconic) 항 및 비구면 고차 섭동 항을 포함하는, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈로 구성되는 한 쌍의 렌즈.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
