Claims (18)
- 측정 장치로서,
복수의 용량 측정 전극;
상기 복수의 용량 측정 전극에 결합된 복수의 전극 스위치;
가드 전위(guard potential)를 생성하기 위한 여기원(excitation source); 및
상기 가드 전위를 수신하고 상기 가드 전위에 대해 참조되는 제1 AC 전위를 생성하도록 구성된 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로
를 포함하고,
상기 복수의 전극 스위치는 상기 용량 측정 전극들 중 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트로 하여금 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 선택적으로 결합되고 상기 제1 AC 전위를 수신하도록 결합되는 것을 가능하게 하는 동시에, 상기 용량 측정 전극들 중 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제2 세트로 하여금 상기 가드 전위를 수신하도록 선택적으로 결합되는 것을 가능하게 하도록 구성되며, 상기 가드 전위는 지면 전위와 상이한, 측정 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 전극 스위치는 상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트로 하여금 상기 가드 전위에 추가로 결합되는 것을 가능하게 하도록 더 구성되는, 측정 장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트는 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로를 통해 상기 가드 전위에 결합되는, 측정 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 용량 검출 회로들 중 적어도 하나는 상기 가드 전위에 결합된 양의 입력 및 상기 용량 측정 전극들 중 적어도 하나에 결합된 음의 입력을 갖는 전하 증폭기를 포함하고, 상기 음의 입력은 상기 가드 전위를 상기 적어도 하나의 용량 측정 전극에 제공하기 위한 것인, 측정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 용량 측정 전극 아래에 형성된 가드 평면을 더 포함하는 측정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 전극 스위치는 하나 이상의 측정 트랙을 통해 상기 용량 측정 전극들을 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 선택적으로 결합하도록 더 구성되는, 측정 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 전극 스위치에 결합된 하나 이상의 제2 스위치를 더 포함하고, 상기 하나 이상의 제2 스위치는 상기 가드 전위에 또는 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 선택적으로 결합될 수 있는, 측정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 제2 스위치는 상기 복수의 용량 측정 전극 각각을 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 순차적으로 그리고 개별적으로 결합하도록 구성되는, 측정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 제2 스위치는 상기 복수의 용량 측정 전극 중 둘 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 그룹들을 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 순차적으로 결합하도록 구성되는, 측정 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 제2 스위치는 상기 가드 전위로 유지되는 가드 차폐에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 둘러싸인 하나 이상의 라인을 통해 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 선택적으로 결합될 수 있는, 측정 장치.
- 용량 터치 또는 근접 측정을 위한 방법으로서,
가드 전위를 생성하는 단계;
상기 가드 전위로부터 제1 AC 전위를 생성하는 단계 - 상기 제1 AC 전위는 상기 가드 전위에 대해 참조됨 -;
상기 제1 AC 전위를 수신하기 위한 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트를, 터치 또는 근접 측정을 위한 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로에 선택적으로 결합하는 단계; 및
부유 용량을 최소화하기 위해 상기 가드 전위를 수신하기 위한 상기 용량 측정 전극들 중 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제2 세트를 동시에 결합하는 단계
를 포함하고, 상기 가드 전위는 지면 전위와 상이한, 방법. - 제11항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트를 상기 가드 전위에 선택적으로 결합하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 가드 평면을 사용하여 상기 용량 측정 전극들의 제1 및 제2 세트들을 차폐하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.

- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트와 상기 하나 이상의 용량 검출 회로 사이의 커플링을 차폐하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 용량 터치 또는 근접 측정을 위한 방법으로서,
가드 전위를 생성하는 단계;
상기 가드 전위로부터 제1 AC 전위를 생성하는 단계 - 상기 제1 AC 전위는 상기 가드 전위에 대해 참조됨 -;
용량 측정 전극들의 어레이 내의 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트로부터 용량 터치 또는 근접 측정들을 획득하는 단계 - 상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트는 상기 제1 AC 전위를 수신함 -;
상기 하나 이상의 용량 측정 전극의 제1 세트로부터 상기 용량 터치 또는 근접 측정들을 획득하는 동시에, 상기 용량 측정 전극들의 어레이 내의 다른 용량 측정 전극들을 상기 가드 전위에 결합하여 부유 용량을 최소화하는 단계
