Claims (12)
- 복수의 유기 발광 다이오드 화소가 매트릭스 형태로 배열되어 영상을 표시하는 표시 패널을 구비하며,
상기 유기 발광 다이오드 화소는
게이트 라인을 통해 입력되는 스캔 신호에 응답하여 데이터 라인으로부터의 데이터 전압 패스를 스위칭하는 스위칭 TFT;
상기 스위칭 TFT로부터의 데이터 전압 크기에 따라 턴-온되어 유기 발광 다이오드의 발광량을 제어하는 구동 TFT; 및
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극에 상기 구동 TFT와 병렬로 연결되어 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극에 인가되는 전압 크기에 따라 용량이 가변되는 가변형 스토리지 커패시터를 포함하는,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 고전위 또는 저전위 전압 공급단 사이에 구성되어, 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 고전위 또는 저전위 전압 공급단 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되는,

- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 커패시터 전압 입력 회로 사이에 구성되어 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 커패시터 전압 입력 회로 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되거나,
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 기준 전압 입력 단자 사이에 구성되어, 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 기준 전압 입력 단자 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되는
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 복수의 유기 발광 다이오드 화소가 매트릭스 형태로 배열되어 영상을 표시하는 표시 패널을 구비하며,
상기 유기 발광 다이오드 화소는
게이트 라인을 통해 입력되는 스캔 신호에 응답하여 데이터 라인으로부터의 데이터 전압 패스를 스위칭하는 스위칭 TFT;
상기 스위칭 TFT로부터의 데이터 전압 크기에 따라 턴-온되어 유기 발광 다이오드의 발광량을 제어하는 구동 TFT;
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극에 상기 구동 TFT와 병렬로 연결되어 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극에 인가되는 전압 크기에 따라 용량이 가변되는 가변형 스토리지 커패시터; 및
상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터보다는 작은 고정 용량을 갖고 상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터와 병렬로 연결된 고정 커패시터를 포함하는,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 고정 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극, 게이트 절연막을 사이에 두고 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극의 적어도 일부 영역과 중첩된 도전성 전극층으로 구성되며,
상기 도전성 전극층은 상기 고전위 또는 저전위 전압 공급단과 전기적으로 연결된,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 구동 TFT는
액티브층이 저온 폴리 실리콘으로 형성된 LTPS(Low Temperature Poly Silicon) 타입으로서, 기판상에 코플래너(Coplanar) 구조로 구성되며,
상기 고정 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극, 절연층을 사이에 두고 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 전극의 적어도 일부 영역과 중첩된 도전성 전극층으로 구성되되, 상기 구동 TFT 상에 미리 설정된 면적만큼 중첩되도록 구성된,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 고정 스토리지 커패시터의 도전성 전극층은
커패시터 전압 입력 회로와 전기적으로 연결되거나, 기준 전압 입력 단자에 전기적으로 연결된,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 고정 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 커패시터 전압 입력 회로 사이에 저장 용량이 고정된 상태로 구성되거나,
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 기준 전압 입력 단자 사이에 저장 용량이 고정된 상태로 구성된,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 고전위 또는 저전위 전압 공급단 사이에 구성되어, 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 고전위 또는 저전위 전압 공급단 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되는,
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 가변형 스토리지 커패시터는
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 커패시터 전압 입력 회로 사이에 구성되어 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 커패시터 전압 입력 회로 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되거나,
상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 기준 전압 입력 단자 사이에 구성되어, 상기 구동 TFT의 게이트 단자와 상기 기준 전압 입력 단자 간의 전압 차이에 대응하여 실시간으로 저장 용량이 가변되는
유기 발광 다이오드 표시장치.
