- 리튬의 흡장방출이 가능한 코어; 및
상기 코어 상의 적어도 일부에 형성된 코팅층을 포함하며,
상기 코팅층이 불활성 리튬이온전도체인 리튬금속산화물을 포함하며,
상기 리튬금속산화물의 금속이 원자량 27 이상이며 원소주기율표 3족 내지 14족으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나의 원소이며,
상기 리튬금속산화물이 하기 화학식 1로 표시되며,
상기 리튬금속산화물이 결정화도 50% 이상의 고결정성을 가지는 복합양극활물질:

상기 식에서, 4≤x≤6, 4≤y≤6이며,
M이 Sc, Y, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, Mn, Tc, Re, Fe, Ru, Os, Co, Rh, Ir, Ni, CU, Zn, Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Sn 및 Pb로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나의 원소이다. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬금속산화물이 하기 화학식 2로 표시되는 복합양극활물질:

상기 식에서, M이 Ge, Ti, Mo, Zn, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ga, Zr, Nb, Tc, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Cd, Sn, W 및 Hf 로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나이다. - 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬금속산화물이 Li4TiO4, 및 Li4GeO4 로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상인 복합양극활물질.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 리튬금속산화물의 이온전도도가 100℃에서 0 초과 내지 10-6 S/cm인 복합양극활물질.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 코팅층에 포함된 리튬금속산화물의 함량이 복합양극활물질 총 중량을 기준으로 5중량% 이하인 복합양극활물질.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 복합양극활물질 표면에 대한 X-선 광전 스펙트럼에서 복합양극활물질 표면 전체 조성에 대하여 리튬금속산화물에 포함된 금속의 함량이 8원자% 이하인 복합양극활물질.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 코어가 하기 화학식 3으로 표시되는 화합물을 포함하는 복합음극활물질:

- 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 코팅층의 형성이 건식 방법으로 수행되는 제조방법.
- 제17 항에 있어서, 상기 건식 방법이 유성 볼밀(ball mill)법, 저속 볼밀법, 고속 볼밀법, 혼성화법(hybridization)법 및 메카노퓨전(mechanofusion)법으로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 하나의 방법을 사용하는 제조방법.
- 제16 항에 있어서, 상기 코팅층의 형성이 습식 방법으로 수행되는 제조방법.
