Claims (10)
- 벽보드 패널 (wallboard panel)을 제조하는 방법으로서,
- 종이 펄프로부터 종이 플라이 (ply)를 형성하는 단계;
- 상기 종이 플라이의 적어도 일부에 PVOH (폴리비닐 알코올)를 분무하는 단계;
- 상기 종이 플라이의 적어도 일부에 붕산 용액을 분무하는 단계;
- 상기 종이 플라이를 중첩시켜 다중-플라이 종이 시트 (multi-ply paper sheet)를 형성하는 단계;
- 상기 다중-플라이 종이 시트를 가압하여 건조시키는 단계;
- 석고 슬러리를 제조하는 단계;
- 2개의 종이 시트 사이에 상기 석고 슬러리를 침착시키는 단계로서, 2개의 종이 시트 중 적어도 하나는 다중-플라이 종이 시트이고, 상기 다중-플라이 종이 시트는 적어도 하나의 필러 플라이 (filler ply) 및 적어도 하나의 라이너 플라이 (liner ply)를 포함하는, 단계; 및
- 상기 벽보드 패널을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서, PVOH 및 붕산은, 2개의 필러 플라이 사이, 필러 플라이와 라이너 플라이 사이, 그리고 2개의 라이너 플라이 사이 중 적어도 하나에 분무되고; 붕산으로 분무하는 것은 또한 살생 처리이며 곰팡이 및 세균 성장에 대한 다중-플라이 종이 시트의 내성을 향상시키는 것인, 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, PVOH는 제1 플라이의 표면에 도포되는 반면, 붕산은 제2 플라이의 표면에 도포되며, 이후 상기 제1 플라이와 상기 제2 플라이를 중첩시켜 PVOH로 처리된 표면이 붕산으로 처리된 표면과 접촉되도록 하는, 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, PVOH 중합체가 초저 중합도를 갖는 중합체, 저 중합도를 갖는 중합체, 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는, 방법.
