Abstract
또한 통신부를 통해 전압 측정부에서 측정된 전압을 전기적으로 절연하여 제어부에 제공함으로써 비절연형 저가 전장 부품 적용이 가능하고, 노이즈를 감소시켜 노이즈에 의한 아날로그 측정 오차를 감소시킬 수 있는 배터리 관리 시스템에 관한 것이다.

도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템에서 배터리 분리 유닛의 구성을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 관리 시스템을 통한 배터리 관리 방법을 설명하기 위한 순서도이다.

Claims (7)
- 배터리와 부하를 연결하는 하나 이상의 스위치;
상기 배터리의 전압값을 측정하는 전압 측정부;
상기 측정된 전압값에 기반하여 상기 하나 이상의 스위치 제어하는 제어부; 및
상기 측정된 전압값을 상기 제어부에 전송하는 통신부;를 포함하며,
상기 전압 측정부, 상기 하나 이상의 스위치 및 상기 통신부는 배터리 분리 유닛(Battery Disconnecting Unit; BDU)으로 구성되고, 상기 제어부는 상기 배터리 분리 유닛 외부에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 분리 유닛은,
상기 배터리 측에 위치하며,
상기 제어부는,
상기 부하측에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리와 병렬 연결되어 기준전압을 생성하는 기준전압 생성부;를 더 포함하며,
상기 기준전압 생성부는,
상기 배터리의 과충전을 판단하는 제1 기준전압 및 상기 배터리의 과방전을 판단하는 제2 기준전압을 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
상기 스위치의 동작을 제어하는 스위치 제어부;
상기 측정된 배터리의 전압값과 상기 생성된 기준전압에 기반하여 상기 배터리의 상태를 진단하는 진단부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제4항에 있어서,
상기 진단부는,
상기 배터리의 전압과 상기 제1 기준전압 및 상기 제2 기준전압을 비교하는 비교부를 포함하며,
상기 배터리 전압이 상기 제1 기준전압보다 크거나 또는 상기 배터리 전압이 상기 제2 기준전압보다 작은 경우 상기 하나 이상의 스위치를 제어하는 스위치 제어 신호를 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 통신부는,
상기 측정된 전압값을 전기적으로 절연시키는 절연부; 및
상기 전기적으로 절연된 전압값을 상기 제어부에 전송하는 전송부;를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전압 측정부, 상기 통신부 및 상기 제어부는 CAN 버스(Controller Area Network Bus)로 연결되어 상기 전압 측정부 및 상기 제어부가 CAN 통신하는 것을 특징으로 하는,
배터리 관리 시스템.
