Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- (i) 9.9 내지 40 중량 퍼센트의 폴리카보네이트;
(ii) 59.9 내지 90 중량 퍼센트의 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트; 및
(iii) 0.0025 내지 0.1 중량 퍼센트의 촉매;
의 용융 압출로부터 유도된 폴리머를 포함하는 투명한 폴리머 블렌드로, 상기 폴리머는 투명한 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 주석을 포함하는 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매는 디부틸 주석 디라우레이트인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리카보네이트는 할로겐 원자가 실질적으로 없는 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머는 다음으로부터 유도된 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드:
(i) 9.9 내지 30 중량 퍼센트의 폴리카보네이트;
(ii) 69.9 내지 90 중량 퍼센트의 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트; 및
(iii) 0.0025 내지 0.04 중량 퍼센트의 촉매. - 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에스테르교환이 용융 압출 동안 상기 폴리카보네이트 및 상기 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트의 적어도 일부분과 함께 일어나는 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 투명한 폴리머 블렌드는 충격 보강제, 흐름 조절제, 충전제, 보강제, 항산화제, 열 안정제, 광안정제, 자외선 광안정제, 자외선 흡수 첨가제, 가소제, 윤활제, 이형제, 정전기방지제, 방무제, 항미생물제, 착색제, 표면 효과 첨가제, 방사선 안정제, 난연제, 및 적하방지제 중 하나 이상을 추가로 포함하는, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리카보네이트는 디페닐 카보네이트와 비스페놀 A의 용융 중합으로부터 유도된 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리카보네이트는 33ppb 이하의 몰리브데늄; 33ppb 이하의 바나듐; 33ppb 이하의 크로뮴; 75ppb 이하의 티타늄; 375ppb 이하의 니오븀; 33ppb 이하의 니켈; 10ppb 이하의 지르코늄; 10ppb 이하의 철; 또는 전술한 것의 임의의 조합을 포함하는 것인, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드.
- (i) 9.9 내지 40 중량 퍼센트의 폴리카보네이트;
(ii) 59.9 내지 90 중량 퍼센트의 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트; 및
(iii) 0.0025 내지 0.1 중량 퍼센트의 촉매;
의 용융 압출 단계를 포함하는, 투명한 폴리머 블렌드를 형성하는 방법. - 제10항에 있어서, 상기 용융 압출은 적어도 100rpm으로 작동하는 스크류 압출기를 이용하는, 방법.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 상기 폴리카보네이트는 할로겐 원자가 실질적으로 없는 것인, 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리머는 다음을 포함하는, 방법:
(i) 9.9 내지 30 중량 퍼센트의 폴리카보네이트;
(ii) 69.9 내지 90 중량 퍼센트의 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트; 및
(iii) 0.0025 내지 0.04 중량 퍼센트의 촉매. - 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에스테르교환이 용융 압출 동안 상기 폴리카보네이트 및 상기 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트의 적어도 일부분과 함께 일어나는 것인, 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리머 블렌드를 물품으로 성형하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 방법.
