Abstract
Description
도 2는 일반적인 자동차의 승객 보호장치가 도시된 도면이다.
도 3은 일반적인 자동차의 승객 보호장치에서의 승객의 변위값 및 예측변위값을 나타낸 함수그래프이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 자동차의 승객 보호장치를 설명하는데 참조되는 도면이다.
도 5는 정면 충돌의 유형에 따라, 2축 FIS 센서의 감지동작을 설명하는데 참조되는 도면이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예에 따라, X축 속도변화값과 Y축 속도변화값이 차량 충돌시 차체의 변형에 따라 신호의 크기가 비례하는 동작을 설명하는데 참조되는 도면이다.

Claims (5)
- 차체;
상기 차체 전방 가운데에 장착되고 차량 충돌시 상기 차체의 길이 방향인 X축 및 상기 차체의 폭 방향인 Y축상에서의 감가속도를 감지하는 2축 FIS 센서;
차량 충돌시에 제1 감가속도를 감지하는 감가속도계;
상기 제1 감가속도에 근거하여 산출된 탑승자의 최초위치에서 전방으로 이동된 변위값과 예측변위값 및 상기 2축 FIS 센서에서 측정된 X축 속도변화값과 Y축 속도변화값에 근거하여 에어백 전개 시점을 결정하는 제어부;를 포함하는 자동차의 승객 보호장치. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는 상기 변위값에 의해 X축 속도변화 임계값 및 Y축 속도변화 임계값을 결정하며, 상기 X축 속도변화값과 상기 X축 속도변화 임계값을 비교하고, 상기 Y축 속도변화값과 상기 Y축 속도변화 임계값을 비교하여 비교결과에 따라 제1임계값 및 제2임계값을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 승객 보호장치. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 예측변위값은 상기 차체의 속도와 관련한 제1 예측 변위 및 상기 차체의 속도변화와 관련한 제2 예측 변위를 포함하고,
상기 제어부는 상기 제1 예측변위가 제1 임계값 이상이고, 상기 제2 예측변위가 제2 임계값 이상인 경우 에어백을 전개시키도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 승객 보호 장치. - 제 1항에 있어서,
차량 충돌시에 상기 차체의 폭방향의 제2 감가속도를 감지하는 횡가속도센서를 더 포함하고,
상기 제어부는 상기 제2 감가속도를 더 포함하여 에어백 전개 시점을 결정하는 자동차의 승객 보호 장치. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 2축 FIS 센서는 상기 차량 충돌시 상기 차체의 변형에 따라 신호의 크기가 비례하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 승객 보호 장치.
