Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 기재와 이 기재 상에 형성된 피복막을 포함하고,
상기 피복막은 1 또는 2 이상의 층을 포함하고,
상기 층 중 상기 기재와 접하는 층은 TiN층이고,
상기 TiN층은 TiN과 함께 적어도 하나의 원소를 포함하고,
상기 원소는 상기 TiN층의 두께 방향으로 농도 분포를 갖고,
상기 농도 분포는, 상기 원소의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 감소하는 영역을 포함하는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 TiN층은 TiN과 함께 C를 포함하고,
상기 C는 상기 TiN층의 두께 방향으로 농도 분포를 갖고,
상기 농도 분포는, 상기 C의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 감소하는 영역을 포함하는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제2항에 있어서, 상기 농도 분포에서, 상기 C의 최대 농도와 최소 농도의 차는 10 원자% 이상인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 C의 최대 농도는 30 원자% 이하인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제2항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 농도 분포는, 상기 C의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 감소한 후 극소점에 달하고, 그 후 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 증가하는 분포를 갖는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제2항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 TiN층은 0.1~0.5 ㎛의 두께를 갖는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제2항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 상기 TiN층의 바로 위에 TiCN층을 포함하고,
상기 TiCN층은 TiCN을 포함하고,
상기 TiCN층에 있어서의 C는, 최대 농도가 20 원자% 이상으로 되는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제2항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 다른 층을 더 포함하고,
상기 다른 층은, 주기율표의 4족 원소, 5족 원소, 6족 원소, Al 및 Si로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 적어도 1종의 원소와, 붕소, 탄소, 질소 및 산소로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 적어도 1종의 원소로 이루어지는 화합물로 구성되는 1 이상의 층인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제2항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 화학 증착법에 의해 형성되는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제2항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 기재는 초경합금인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기재는 초경합금으로 이루어지고,
상기 TiN층은 TiN과 함께 C와 Co를 포함하고,
상기 C와 상기 Co는 각각 상기 TiN층의 두께 방향으로 농도 분포를 갖고,
상기 C의 농도 분포는, 상기 C의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 감소하는 영역을 포함하고,
상기 Co의 농도 분포는, 상기 Co의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 감소하는 영역을 포함하는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제11항에 있어서, 상기 TiN층 중에 있어서의 상기 C와 상기 Co는 상기 Co 에 대하여 상기 C가 원자비로 2배 이상 존재하는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제11항 또는 제12항에 있어서, 상기 C의 농도 분포에서, 상기 C의 최대 농도와 최소 농도의 차는 10 원자% 이상인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제11항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 C의 최대 농도는 30 원자% 이하이고,
상기 Co의 최대 농도는 5 원자% 이하인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제11항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 C의 농도 분포는, 상기 C의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 감소한 후 극소점에 달하고, 그 후 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 증가하는 분포를 갖고,
상기 Co의 농도 분포는, 상기 Co의 농도가 상기 기재 측으로부터 상기 피복막의 표면 측에 걸쳐서 감소하는 분포를 갖는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제11항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 TiN층은 0.1~0.5 ㎛의 두께를 갖는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
- 제11항 내지 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 상기 TiN층 바로 위에 TiCN층을 포함하고,
상기 TiCN층은 TiCN을 포함하고,
상기 TiCN층에 있어서의 C는, 최대 농도가 20 원자% 이상으로 되는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제11항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 다른 층을 더 포함하고,
상기 다른 층은, 주기율표의 4족 원소, 5족 원소, 6족 원소, Al 및 Si로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 적어도 1종의 원소와, 붕소, 탄소, 질소 및 산소로 이루어지는 그룹에서 선택된 적어도 1종의 원소로 이루어지는 화합물로 구성되는 1 이상의 층인 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구. - 제11항 내지 제18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 피복막은 화학 증착법에 의해 형성되는 것인 표면 피복 절삭 공구.
