Abstract
Description
도 1은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩을 리사이클링하는 처리 장치의 예를 도시하는 개략도이다.
도 2는 리튬-이온 2차 배터리(배터리 셀)를 가열하는 동안에 전압을 측정함으로써 얻어지는 결과의 예를 도시하는 도표이다.
도 3은 리튬 헥사플루오로포스페이트(LiPF6)의 열 분해 성질을 도시하는 도표이다.
도 4는 리튬 니켈 산화물(LiNiO2)의 열 분해 성질을 도시하는 도표이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩을 리사이클링하는 처리 장치의 또 다른 예를 도시하는 개략도이다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배터리 팩을 리사이클링하는 처리 장치의 또 다른 예를 도시하는 개략도이다.
도 7은 배터리 팩을 분해하는 공정 그리고 배터리 셀 내의 중요 자원을 회수하는 공정을 설명하는 흐름도이다.
Claims (8)
- 서로 직렬로 연결된 복수의 전지로 구성되는 조전지를 포함하는 배터리 팩의 리사이클링 방법이며,
상기 배터리 팩을 가열하기 위한 열 처리 용기 내로, 상기 열 처리 용기 내의 공간을 치환하는 증기 또는 불활성 가스를 공급하여 상기 배터리 팩을 가열하는 공정과,
상기 배터리 팩을 가열함으로써 상기 배터리 팩으로부터 방출되는 열분해 생성물을 응축하는 공정을 포함하는, 리사이클링 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 팩은 150℃ 이상 그리고 180℃ 미만의 온도로 가열되는, 리사이클링 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 팩은 160℃ 이상의 온도로 가열되는, 리사이클링 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 증기가 열 처리 용기 내로 공급되기 전에 증기를 가열하는 공정을 추가로 포함하고,
가열된 증기가 열 처리 용기 내로 공급되어 상기 배터리 팩을 가열하는, 리사이클링 방법. - 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 전지는 니켈 수소화물 2차 배터리 또는 리튬 이온 2차 배터리인, 리사이클링 방법.
- 서로 직렬로 연결된 복수의 전지로 구성되는 조전지를 포함하는 배터리 팩을 리사이클링하기 위한 처리 장치이며,
상기 배터리 팩을 가열하는 열 처리 용기와,
열 처리 용기 내로 열 처리 용기 내의 공간을 치환하는 증기 또는 불활성 가스를 공급하는 공급 유닛과,
가열된 배터리 팩으로부터 방출되는 열분해 생성물을 응축하는 응축 유닛을 포함하는, 처리 장치. - 제6항에 있어서, 상기 배터리 팩은 열 처리 용기 내에서 160℃ 이상의 온도로 가열되는, 처리 장치.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 증기가 열 처리 용기 내로 공급되기 전에 증기를 가열하는 가열 유닛을 추가로 포함하고,
가열된 증기가 열 처리 용기 내로 공급되는, 처리 장치.
