도 2는 본 발명의 제 1 실시 예에 의한 프론트 라이트 유닛을 채택한 반사형 액정표시장치의 구조를 나타내는 단면도.
도 3은 본 발명의 제 2 실시 예에 의한 프론트 라이트 유닛을 채택한 반사형 액정표시장치의 구조를 나타내는 단면도.
도 4는 본 발명의 제 3 실시 예에 의한 프론트 라이트 유닛을 채택한 전기영동표시장치의 구조를 나타내는 단면도.
도 5는 본 발명에 의한 프론트 라이트 유닛을 구성하는 도광판의 배면부에 형성된 반사 패턴의 구조를 나타내는 평면도.
도 6은 도 5에서 절취선 I-I'으로 자른 반사 패턴의 구조를 나타내는 단면도.

Claims (7)
- 반사형 표시패널;
상기 반사형 표시패널 전면부에 위치하며, 배면부에 반사 패턴을 포함하는 도광판;
상기 도광판의 일측변에 위치하는 광원; 그리고
상기 도광판의 전면부에 위치하는 광학 필름을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 반사 패턴은 직경이 20~100㎛인 반구형이며;
높이가 5~10㎛인 돌기 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 반사 패턴은 상기 광원이 위치하는 입광부에서 상기 입광부와 대향하는 대광부에 이르기는 거리 변화에 따라 분포 밀도가 비례적으로 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판 표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 도광판의 크기는 17인치이며;
상기 반사 패턴은 상기 입광부에서는 상기 분포 밀도가 125개/㎠이고;
상기 대광부에서는 상기 분포 밀도가 250개/㎠이며; 그리고
상기 입광부와 상기 대광부의 중간 위치에서 상기 분포 밀도가 170개/㎠인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 반사형 표시패널은, 반사형 액정표시패널 및 전기영동표시패널 중 선택한 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판 표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 반사형 표시패널이 반사형 액정표시패널인 경우,
상기 광학 필름은 편광 기능을 갖는 다층 광학 필름이며;
상기 다층 광학 필름과 상기 도광판 사이에 개재된 사반파장판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 다층 광학 필름의 편광축은 상기 반사형 액정표시패널의 편광판의 편광축과 나란하게 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 평판 표시장치.
