Claims (9)
- 충전전압을 공급하여 배터리팩을 충전하되, 상기 배터리팩을 제 1 충전구간과 제 2 충전구간으로 구분하여 동작하는 전원충방전부;상기 제 1 충전구간에 충전된 상기 배터리팩의 출력전압을 감지하는 전압감지부;상기 출력전압에 대응하여 상기 제 2 충전구간에 배터리팩에 공급하는 충전전압의 전압레벨을 결정하는 제어부를 포함하는 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전원충방전부는상기 배터리팩에 상기 충전전압을 공급하되, 상기 전압감지부에서 감지된 상기 출력전압의 전압에 대응하여 상기 배터리팩에 공급되는 상기 충전전압의 전압레벨을 결정하는 전원부; 및전압제어신호를 출력하여 상기 전원부의 스위칭동작을 제어하는 전원제어부를 포함하는 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 전압제어신호의 펄스폭에 의해 상기 전원부의 스위칭동작이 제어되는 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 전원부는 상기 스위칭 동작에 의해 상기 충전전압의 전압레벨이 변경되는 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 충전구간에서 상기 배터리팩 내에 셀수가 많은 경우의 상기 배터리팩의 입력전압은 상기 배터리팩 내의 셀수가 적은 경우의 상기 배터리 팩의 입력전압보다 높은 전압인 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 전원부는 교류전압을 직류전압으로 변경하는 어뎁터로부터 상기 충전전압을 입력받는 배터리팩의 충전장치.
- 소정의 전압을 배터리팩에 인가한 후 배터리팩에서 출력되는 출력전압을 감지하는 감지단계;상기 출력전압에 대응하여 배터리팩 내의 셀수를 파악하는 계산단계; 및입력전압을 전달받아 상기 배터리팩 내의 셀수에 대응하는 전압으로 변경한 후 상기 배터리팩에 공급하여 상기 배터리팩을 충전하는 충전단계를 포함하는 배터리팩의 충전방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 배터리팩의 셀수는 상기 출력전압의 전압레벨에 대응하여 결정되는 배터리팩의 충전방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 충전단계에서, 스위칭동작을 반복하여 상기 입력전압이 전달 또는 차단되도록 함으로써 전기 에너지를 충전하여 입력전압의 전압레벨보다 높은 전압을 출력하는 전압을 변경하는 배터리팩의 충전방법.
