Claims (7)
- 복수의 점광원 소자를 평면 형상으로 복수 배열한 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트에 있어서,점광원 소자가 배열되는 전체 영역이 복수의 소영역으로 분할되고, 소영역 마다, 점광원 소자를 지지하는 지지 기판과, 그 지지 기판 상에 배치되는 점광원 소자로 구성되는 복수의 백라이트 유닛과,상기 백라이트 유닛의 상기 지지 기판 상에 배치되며, 상기 점광원 소자의 배치 위치에 개구가 형성된 반사 시트를 갖고,상기 반사 시트는 상기 전체 영역을 복수의 시트로 덮도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 백라이트 유닛을 평면 형상으로 인접 배치하였을 때에, 상기 시트끼리가 인접하는 경계를 사이에 두는 점광원 소자의 배치 간격은, 단일의 반사 시트의 내부에 배치되는 점광원 소자의 배치 간격보다도 좁아지도록 설정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반사 시트를 구성하는 각 시트는, 적어도 1개의 소영역을 포함하고, 또 한 소영역을 최소 단위로 하는 면적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 반사 시트를 구성하는 각 시트는, 각 백라이트 유닛과 거의 동일한 면적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 반사 시트를 구성하는 각 시트는, 서로 겹치도록 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 점광원 소자가 발광 다이오드인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트.
- 액정 표시 패널과, 그 액정 표시 패널에 광을 조사하는 직하형의 백라이트를 구비한 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 백라이트는, 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항의 액정 표시 장치용 백라이트를 이용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
