Abstract
Description
Claims (7)
- a) 내피세포의 지지성장(supporting growth)을 가능하게 하는 상단면과 하단면을 가지는 생분해성 고분자 지지 메트릭스; 및,b) 상기 상단면에 배열된 이식에 적합한 생육가능한 내피세포층을 포함하고,c) 상기 각막편은 안구에 이식될 때, 안구와 친화되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 각막치료에 유용한 재흡수성 각막편(corneal button).
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 생분해성 고분자 지지 메트릭스는 히알루론산, 양막(amniotic membrane), 키토산, 가교된 콜라겐, 알긴산(alginate), 지방질 조직(adipose tissue), 젤라틴, 카르복시메틸셀룰로스 및 이들의 조합으로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는재흡수성 각막편.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 내피세포는 각막의 내피세포인 것을 특징으로 하는재흡수성 각막편.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 생분해성 고분자 지지 메트릭스는 히알루론산을 포함하고, 상기 내피세포는 각막의 내피세포인 것을 특징으로 하는재흡수성 각막편.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 생분해성 고분자 지지 메트릭스는 가교된 콜라겐을 포함하고, 상기 내피세포는 각막의 내피세포인 것을 특징으로 하는재흡수성 각막편.
- a) 고분자 지지 메트릭스를 수득하는 단계;b) 이식이 필요한 환자로부터 각막 내피세포를 수확하거나, 또는 기탁된(banked) 내피세포를 이용하는 단계;c) 상기 고분자 지지체 메트릭스의 표면에 상기 수확하거나 또는 기탁된 각막 내피세포를 세포들이 융합에 이르기까지 성장 또는 증식시켜서, 재흡수성 각막편을 작제하는 단계;d) 각막의 전방(anterior chamber)에 접근하기 위하여, 이식을 필요로 하는 안구에 표준 심층 각막 내피이식술(DLEK), 각막-공막절개술(corneal-scleral incision)를 시술하는 단계;e) 각막의 전방 내에 존재하는 내피세포 위에 상기 재흡수성 각막편(corneal button)을 이식하여, 이식된 내피세포가 각막 전방의 세포와 밀접하게 접촉하는 단계;f) 상기 전방 내에 히알루로나제를 주입하는 단계; 및,g) 안구의 절개부를 폐쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 각막의 치료방법.
- 제 6항에 있어서,상기 재흡수성 각막편을 수용하는 각막에 생존하는 상기 내피세포는 이식단계 e) 이전에 생육을 방해(stun)하는 것을 특징으로 하는각막의 치료방법.
