Claims (6)
- 코어(core) 및 상기 코어의 한 면에 접착되어 라미네이트된(adhesively laminated) 페이퍼 페이서(paper facer) 시트를 포함하는 복합보드로서,상기 코어는 펄라이트(perlite), 바인더, 및 셀룰로오스 섬유의 혼합물을 포함하며,상기 코어는 상기 펄라이트, 바인더, 및 셀룰로오스 섬유가 균일하게 분산된 물 슬러리로서 형성되고,상기 펄라이트는 그 입자가 내부 공극을 포함하며 세제곱 피트당 약 5 내지 약 15 파운드의 밀도를 나타내도록 팽창된(expanded) 상태로 존재하며 벌크로(in bulk) 상기 코어 부피의 50% 이상을 차지하기에 충분한 양으로 존재하며,중량 기준으로, 상기 펄라이트 및 셀룰로오스 섬유의 총합은 상기 코어 중량의 25% 이상을 구성하고,상기 셀룰로오스 섬유 및 바인더는 펄라이트 입자들 사이의 빈틈 내에서 매트릭스를 형성하며,상기 바인더는 상기 셀룰로오스 섬유를 서로에 대하여 및 상기 섬유를 펄라이트 입자에 대하여 고정화하고,상기 셀룰로오스 섬유는 상기 코어의 인장 강도의 주요 부분을 제공하며,상기 페이퍼 페이서는 수계 접착제가 상기 페이서의 실질적으로 모든 면적에 걸쳐서 도포된 상태로 코어에 라미네이트되고,상기 펄라이트의 압축 강도 및 상기 셀룰로오스 섬유의 인장 강도 모두는 상기 복합 보드의 중량에 비하여 상대적으로 높은 못 인발력 용량(nail-pull capacity)이 달성되도록 바인더의 작용에 의하여 이용되는 복합 보드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 펄라이트의 본래 벌크 부피는 상기 코어의 부피 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 복합 패널.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 펄라이트, 셀룰로오스 섬유 및 바인더의 총합이 상기 코어 중량의 약 30%이상을 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 복합 보드.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 페이퍼 페이서는 상기 코어가 공장(factory)에서 마감될 때에 코어에 라미네이트된 것을 특징으로 하는 복합 보드.
- 성분으로서, 코어 및 상기 코어의 하나 이상의 면에 접착되어 라미네이트된(adhesively laminated) 페이퍼 페이서 시트 재료를 포함하는 복합 보드로서,상기 코어는 펄라이트, 바인더 및 셀룰로오스 섬유의 실질적으로 균일한 혼합물을 포함하며,상기 코어는 물 슬러리로서 형성되고,상기 펄라이트는 그 입자가 내부 공극을 포함하고 세제곱 피트당 약 3 내지 15 파운드의 밀도를 나타내도록 팽창된 상태로 존재하며,상기 펄라이트는 상기 코어 중량의 약 15% 내지 약 40%를 구성하며,상기 셀룰로오스 섬유는 상기 코어 중량의 약 10% 내지 약 30%를 구성하며,상기 바인더는 상기 코어 중량의 약 5% 내지 약 15%를 구성하며,상기 셀룰로오스 섬유 및 바인더는 상기 펄라이트 입자 사이의 빈틈 내에서 매트릭스를 형성하며,상기 바인더는 셀룰로오스 섬유를 서로에 대하여 및 상기 셀룰로오스 섬유를 상기 펄라이트 입자에 대하여 접착시키고,상기 페이퍼 페이서 재료는 수계 접착제가 상기 페이서 재료의 실질적으로 모든 면적에 걸쳐서 도포된 상태로 코어에 라미네이트되고,상기 코어의 상기 펄라이트, 셀룰로오스 섬유, 바인더 및 다른 구성물 및 페이퍼 페이서 재료의 조성물은 세제곱 피트당 약 30 파운드 이하의 복합 보드 밀도 및 상기 복합 보드의 캘리퍼가 공칭 ⅜"인 경우 약 56 파운드 이상 및 상기 복합 보드 캘리퍼가 공칭 약 ½″인 경우 약 77 파운드 이상의 못 인발력(nail pull)을 제공하도록 선택되는 복합 보드.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 페이퍼 페이서 시트 재료는 상기 코어 반대면 상에 라미네이트된 것을 특징으로 하는 복합 보드.
