Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
- 연소 장치용 액체 연료를 마련하기 위한 연료 변환 시스템의 작동 방법이며,a) 제1 온도에서 산소제거 장치에 의해 액체 연료로부터 용존 산소를 제거하는 단계와,b) 연료의 적어도 일부를 증발시키도록 제1 온도보다 높은 제2 온도로 액체 연료를 가열하는 단계와,c) 증발된 연료를 산화제와 혼합하는 단계와,d) 증발된 연료 산화제 혼합물을 촉매 반응기에서 개질하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증발된 연료가 촉매 반응기에서 개질된 후에 추가의 산화제를 혼합하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계 a)는 액체 연료를 산소 투과성 막에 인접하게 유동시키는 단계와, 액체 연료로부터 용존 산소를 인출하기 위해 상기 투과성 막을 가로지르는 산소 부분 차압을 발생시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 온도는 연료와 용존 산소 사이의 상호작용에 의해 생성되는 상당한 불용성 물질을 발생시키는 온도보다 낮은 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 온도는 연료와 용존 산소 사이의 상호작용에 의해 생성되는 상당한 불용성 물질을 발생시키는 온도보다 높은 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증발된 연료 산화제 혼합물을 적절하게 낮은 온도에서 연소기에서 태우는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 적절하게 낮은 온도는 1093 내지 1649℃(2000 내지 3000℉) 사이의 온도를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연료 변환 시스템 주위로 액체 연료의 일 부분을 그리고 연료 변환 시스템을 통해 액체 연료의 다른 부분을 바이패스시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 연료 변환 시스템 주위로 바이패스되는 액체 연료의 일 부분은 연소 장치 내부로 직접 수용되는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 연료 변환 시스템 주위로 바이패스되는 액체 연료의 일 부분은 후혼합 장치 내부로 직접 수용되는 방법.
- 연소 장치를 위해 액체 연료를 조절하는 시스템이며,액체 연료로부터 용존 산소를 제거하기 위한 적어도 하나의 연료 산소제거기와,액체 연료의 적어도 일 부분을 증발시키기 위한 가열 장치와,증발된 연료에 산화제를 첨가하기 위한 혼합 장치와,산화제와 혼합한 후 연료를 개질하기 위한 촉매 반응기를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 촉매 반응기 내에서 개질된 후 추가의 산화제를 첨가하기 위한 제2 혼합 장치를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 연료 산소제거기는 바람직하지 않은 불용성 물질을 형성하는 온도보다 낮은 제1 온도에서 액체 연료를 수용하는 시스템.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 가열 장치는 상기 제1 온도보다 높은 제2 온도로 연료를 가열하는 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 액체 연료는 상기 산소제거기를 통해 그리고 산소 투과성 막에 인접하게 유동하는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 투과성 막에 인접하게 유동하는 연료로부터 용존 산 소를 인출하기 위해 상기 산소 투과성 막을 가로지르는 산소 차압부를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 연소 장치는 가스 터빈 엔진용 연소기를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 연료 산소제거기, 가열 장치, 혼합 장치 및 촉매 반응기 중 적어도 하나 주위로 연료의 일 부분을 보내기 위한 바이패스를 포함하는 시스템.
