Claims (15)
- 외부에서 입력되는 영상데이터를 영상 처리하여 화상이 구현되는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널과;상기 영상 데이터가 무신호 상태인지 여부를 검출하는 무신호 상태 검출부 및;상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과에 따라 서브 필드의 수를 조절하는 서브 필드 수 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 서브 필드 수 제어부는상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과 무신호 상태인 경우 서브 필드의 수를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 서브 필드 수 제어부는고계조 서브 필드의 수를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 고계조 서브 필드는 네번째 이 후의 서브 필드인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 외부에서 입력되는 영상데이터를 영상 처리하여 화상이 구현되는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널과;상기 영상 데이터가 무신호 상태인지 여부를 검출하는 무신호 상태 검출부 및;상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과에 따라 한 프레임에서의 서스테인 펄스 수를 조절하는 서스테인 펄스 수 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 펄스 수 제어부는상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과 무신호 상태인 경우 상기 한 프레임에서의 서스테인 펄스 수를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 펄스 수 제어부는고계조 서브 필드에서의 서스테인 펄스 수를 감소시킴으로써 한 프레임에서의 서스테인 펄스 수를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 고계조 서브 필드는 네번째 이 후의 서브 필드인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 한 프레임에서의 서스테인 펄스 수는 200 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 외부에서 입력되는 영상데이터를 영상 처리하여 화상이 구현되는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널과;상기 영상 데이터가 무신호 상태인지 여부를 검출하는 무신호 상태 검출부 및;상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과에 따라 서스테인 펄스의 파형을 조절하는 서스테인 파형 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 파형 제어부는상기 서스테인 펄스의 최저치로부터 최고치로의 상승시간을 조절함으로써 상기 서스테인 펄스의 파형을 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 11 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 파형 제어부는상기 무신호 상태 검출부의 검출결과 무신호 상태인 경우 상기 상승시간을 길게 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 상승시간은 450ns 이상 650ns 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 10 항 내지 제 13 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 서스테인 펄스의 파형은 고계조 서브 필드에서 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 고계조 서브 필드는 네번째 이 후의 서브 필드인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시장치.
