Description
Claims (21)
- 행렬 형태로 배열되어 있는 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치로서,복수의 영상 데이터 중에서, 입력 영상 데이터에 대응하는 하나의 영상 데이터를 선택하여 출력 영상 데이터로 변환한 후 출력하는 신호 제어부, 그리고상기 신호 제어부로부터의 출력 영상 데이터를 해당하는 데이터 전압으로 변환하여 상기 화소에 인가하는 데이터 구동부를 포함하고,상기 복수의 영상 데이터의 정면 감마의 평균은 상기 입력 영상 데이터에 대한 정면 감마와 일치하는표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 영상 데이터는 화소 단위로 번갈아 인가되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 데이터 전압의 극성은 1×2 도트 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 데이터 전압의 극성은 2 프레임 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 영상 데이터는 화소행 단위로 번갈아 인가되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항 또는 제5항에서,상기 복수의 영상 데이터는 소정 화소에 프레임마다 번갈아 인가되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항 또는 제5항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 데이터 전압의 극성은 1×1 도트 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제8항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 데이터 전압의 극성은 2 프레임 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 복수의 영상 데이터는 제1 영상 데이터와 제2 영상 데이터를 포함하고, 상기 제1 영상 데이터는 상기 입력 영상 데이터의 계조보다 높은 계조를 갖고, 상기 제2 영상 데이터는 상기 입력 영상 데이터의 계조보다 낮은 계조를 갖는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제9항에서,상기 신호 제어부는,상기 제1 영상 데이터가 기억된 제1 데이터 저장부와 제2 영상 데이터가 기억된 제2 데이터 저장부를 포함하고,상기 신호 제어부는 상기 입력 영상 데이터에 기초하여 상기 제1 데이터 저장부 또는 상기 제2 데이터 저장부에 기억된 제1 영상 데이터 또는 제2 영상 데이터를 출력 영상 데이터로서 변환한 후 출력하는표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제10항에서,상기 신호 제어부는 상기 출력 영상 데이터를 이전 프레임의 출력 영상 데이터(이하, 이전 출력 영상 데이터라 함)를 비교하여 상기 출력 영상 데이터를 최종 출력 영상 데이터로 보정한 후 데이터 전압으로서 출력하는 DCC부를 더 포함하는
- 제11항에서,상기 신호 제어부는 이전 출력 영상 데이터를 기억하고 있는 프레임 메모리를 더 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제11항에서,상기 신호 제어부는 계조 레벨의 증감에 따라 색 온도가 일정한 특성을 갖도록 상기 입력 영상 데이터를 보정하는 색 보정부를 더 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 입력 영상 데이터는 120㎐의 주파수를 갖는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 행렬 형태로 배열되어 있는 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치로서,입력 영상 데이터를 출력 영상 데이터로 변환하여 내보는 신호 제어부,복수의 제1 계조 전압을 생성하는 제1 계조 전압 생성기와 복수의 제2 계조 전압을 생성하는 제2 계조 전압 생성기를 포함하는 계조 전압 생성부,상기 신호 제어부로부터의 출력 영상 데이터에 기초하여 상기 제1 계조 전압 생성기와 상기 제2 계조 전압 생성기 중 하나의 계조 전압 생성기를 선택한 후, 해 당하는 계조 전압을 데이터 전압으로 변환하여 상기 화소에 인가하는 데이터 구동부를 포함하고,상기 제1 및 제2 계조 전압에 대응하는 영상 데이터의 정면 감마의 평균은 상기 입력 영상 데이터에 대한 정면 감마와 일치하는표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제15항에서,상기 제1 계조 전압에 대응하는 영상 데이터는 상기 입력 영상 데이터의 계조보다 높은 계조를 갖고, 상기 제2 계조 전압에 대응하는 영상 데이터는 상기 입력 영상 데이터의 계조보다 낮은 계조를 갖는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제15항에서,상기 제1 및 제2 계조 전압은 화소행 단위로 번갈아 인가되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제17항에서,상기 제1 및 제2 계조 전압은 소정 화소에 프레임마다 번갈아 인가되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제17항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 계조 전압의 극성은 1×1 도트 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제19항에서,상기 복수의 화소에 인가되는 계조 전압의 극성은 2 프레임 반전인 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제15항에서,상기 입력 영상 데이터는 120㎐의 주파수를 갖는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
