Description
Claims (21)
- 통신 네트워크에서 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 결정하기 위한 방법에 있어서,상기 이동 통신 장치와 다수의 기준 포인트들 간의 각각의 거리를 나타내는 측정 데이터에 기초하여 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 추정하는 단계와; 그리고위치를 추정함에 있어 더 새로운 측정 데이터보다 더 이전의 측정 데이터를 덜 중요하게 취급하는 망각 인자를 포함하는 예보 필터를 이용하여, 상기 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 지시하는 변경된 추정 위치를 생성하도록 추정된 위치를 변경하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 변경 단계는 세 축의 좌표 상에서 상기 이동 통신 장치의 이동을 예보하고, 변경된 추정 위치를 확인하기 위하여 상기 예보 필터를 이용하여 예고된 이동을 조절하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 변경 단계는 예보 필터에 의해 변경되는 것과 같은, 상기 이동 통신 장치의 시작 위치를 나타내는 변수들과 상기 이동 통신 장치의 이동 속도를 나타내는 변수들을 포함하는 방정식을 이용하여 이동을 예보하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 방정식은 세 가지 시스템으로 이루어진 방정식들을 포함하고, 그 각각의 시스템은 각각의 이동 축에 관련되며 또한 망각 인자를 이용하여 각각의 축에 대한 추정된 시작 위치 좌표와 그 각각의 축을 따르는 이동 속도를 조절하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 네트워크는 무선 애드-혹(ad-hoc) 동등계층(peer-to-peer) 네트워크를 구비하고, 또한 상기 이동 통신 장치는 무선 애드-혹 동등계층 통신 네트워크의 일 노드임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 이동 통신 장치는 추정 및 변경 단계를 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 망각 인자는 0에서 1 사이의 값을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 통신 네트워크에서 프로세서로 하여금 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 결정할 수 있도록 하기 위한 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체에 있어서, 상기 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체는,상기 이동 통신 장치와 다수의 기준 포인트들 간의 각각의 거리를 나타내는 측정 데이터에 기초하여 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 추정하도록 상기 프로세서를 제어하도록 구성된 제1세트의 명령들과; 그리고위치를 추정함에 있어 더 새로운 측정 데이터보다 더 이전의 측정 데이터를 덜 중요하게 취급하는 망각 인자를 포함하는 예보 필터를 이용하여, 상기 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 지시하는 변경된 추정 위치를 생성하도록 추정된 위치를 변경하도록 상기 프로세서를 제어하도록 구성된 제2세트의 명령들을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 제2세트의 명령은 세 축의 좌표 상에서 상기 이동 통신 장치의 이동을 예보하고, 변경된 추정 위치를 확인하기 위하여 상기 예보 필터를 이용하여 예고된 이동을 조절하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 제2세트의 명령은 예보 필터에 의해 변경되는 것과 같이, 상기 이동 통신 장치의 시작 위치를 나타내는 변수들과 상기 이동 통신 장치의 이동 속도를 나타내는 변수들을 포함하는 방정식을 이용하여 이동을 예보하도록 프로세서를 제어함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 방정식은 세 가지 시스템으로 이루어진 방정식들을 포함하고, 그 각각의 시스템은 각각의 이동 축에 관련되며, 또한 망각 인자를 이용하여 각각의 축에 대한 추정된 시작 위치 좌표와 그 각각의 축을 따르는 이동 속도를 조절하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체.

- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 망각 인자는 0에서 1 사이의 값을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터로 독출이 가능한 명령들의 매개체.
- 통신 네트워크에서 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 결정하기 위한 시스템에 있어서, 상기 시스템은,상기 이동 통신 장치와 다수의 기준 포인트들 간의 각각의 거리를 나타내는 측정 데이터에 기초하여 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 추정하고, 그리고 위치를 추정함에 있어 더 새로운 측정 데이터보다 더 이전의 측정 데이터를 덜 중요하게 취급하는 망각 인자를 포함하는 예보 필터를 이용하여, 상기 이동 통신 장치의 위치를 지시하는 변경된 추정 위치를 생성하도록 추정된 위치를 변경하도록 구성된 프로세서를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 변경 동작은 세 축의 좌표 상에서 상기 이동 통신 장치의 이동을 예보하고, 변경된 추정 위치를 확인하기 위하여 상기 예보 필터를 이용하여 예고된 이동을 조절하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
