Claims (7)
- 디스플레이 표면 및 복수의 액정 서브-픽셀을 포함하는 반사형 액정 패널 (13);반사형 액정 디스플레이 패널의 디스플레이 표면측에 배열되고, 상기 액정 서브-픽셀중의 하나에 각각 대응하는 복수의 전계 발광 서브-픽셀을 포함하는 전계 발광 패널 (12) 로서, 상기 전계 발광 서브-픽셀 각각은 백색광을 방출하는, 상기 전계 발광 패널 (12);상기 반사형 액정 디스플레이 패널의 디스플레이 표면측에 배열되고 상기 전계 발광 패널 보다 상기 디스플레이 표면으로부터 더 멀리 배열되며, 상기 전계 발광 서브-픽셀에 각각 대응하는 복수의 영역을 포함하는 컬러 필터 (15) 로서, 상기 전계 발광 서브-픽셀 각각은 상기 컬러 필터의 대응하는 영역을 통한 투과를 가능하게 하는 파장을 갖는 최소한의 광을 투과하는, 상기 컬러 필터 (15);상기 액정 패널을 구동하는 액정 패널 구동장치 (31, 32);상기 전계 발광 패널을 구동하는 EL 패널 구동장치 (29, 30); 및이미지를 디스플레이하기 위해 상기 액정 패널 구동장치 및 상기 EL 패널 구동장치중의 적어도 하나를 선택하는 선택 수단 (33, 34) 을 구비하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 디스플레이 표면 및 복수의 액정 서브-픽셀을 포함하는 반사형 액정 패널(13);반사형 액정 디스플레이 패널의 디스플레이 표면측에 배열되고, 상기 액정 서브-픽셀중의 하나에 각각 대응하는 복수의 전계 발광 서브-픽셀을 포함하는 전계 발광 패널 (12);상기 반사형 액정 디스플레이 패널의 디스플레이 표면측에 배열되고 상기 전계 발광 패널 보다 디스플레이 표면으로부터 더 멀리 배열되며, 전계 발광 서브-픽셀중의 하나에 각각 대응하는 복수의 영역을 포함하는 컬러 필터 (15) 로서, 상기 전계 발광 서브-픽셀 각각은 상기 컬러 필터의 대응하는 영역을 통한 투과를 가능하게 하는 파장을 갖는 최소한의 광을 투과하고 상기 파장을 갖는 광을 방출하기 위해 최소한 기능하는, 상기 컬러 필터 (15);상기 액정 패널을 구동하는 액정 패널 구동장치 (31, 32);상기 전계 발광 패널을 구동하는 EL 패널 구동장치 (29, 30);상기 액정 패널 구동장치 및 상기 EL 패널 구동장치중의 적어도 하나를 선택하는 선택 수단 (33, 34) 을 구비하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 선택 수단은 상기 EL 패널 구동장치로 하여금 상기 전계 발광 패널을 비-발광 상태로 유지시킬지 또는 상기 액정 패널 구동장치를 사용하여 이미지를 디스플레이할 때 상기 액정 패널과 동기화하여 상기 EL 패널을 구동시킬지 여부를 선택하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 선택 수단은 상기 EL 패널 구동장치를 사용하여 이미지를 디스플레이할 때 상기 액정 패널 구동장치로 하여금 상기 액정 패널을 백색 디스플레이 상태 또는 흑색 디스플레이 상태로 유지시킬지 여부를 선택하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 선택 수단은 상기 EL 패널 구동장치를 사용하여 이미지를 디스플레이할 때 상기 전계 발광 패널과 동기화하여 상기 액정 패널 구동장치로 하여금 상기 액정 패널을 백색 디스플레이 상태 또는 흑색 디스플레이 상태로 유지하도록 하는, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 액정 패널은 일반적으로 백색인, 디스플레이 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 전계 발광 패널은 유기 전계 발광 패널인, 디스플레이 장치.
