Claims (8)
- 스캔전극과 서스테인전극을 공유하며 상하로 인접하는 제1 및 제2 셀들을 가지는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널을 구동하기 위한 방법에 있어서,제1 어드레스기간에 상기 제1 셀을 선택하는 단계와,상기 제1 어드레스기간에 이어지는 제2 어드레스기간에 상기 제2 셀을 선택하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 셀 내에 소거방전을 일으키기 위한 소거 데이터를 상기 스캔전극 및 상기 서스테인전극과 교차하는 데이터전극에 공급하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,제1 스캔펄스를 상기 스캔전극에 공급하는 단계와,상기 제1 스캔펄스와 극성이 반대이고 상기 제1 스캔펄스에 일부 중첩되는 제2 스캔펄스를 상기 서스테인전극에 공급하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 셀은 상기 제1 스캔펄스의 후반부에 중첩되는 상기 제2 스캔펄스의 초반부 기간에 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 셀은 상기 제1 스캔펄스의 초반부에 중첩되는 상기 제2 스캔펄스의 후반부 기간에 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 어드레스기간에 앞서 설정된 리셋기간에 구형파를 상기 스캔전극에 인가하여 리셋방전을 일으킴으로써 상기 스캔전극 상에 부극성의 벽전하를 쌓고 상기 스캔전극 및 상기 서스테인전극과 교차하는 데이터전극과 상기 서스테인전극 상에 정극성의 벽전하를 쌓는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 어드레스기간에 앞서 설정된 리셋기간에 램프파를 상기 스캔전극에 인가하여 리셋방전을 일으킴으로써 상기 스캔전극 상에 부극성의 벽전하를 쌓고 상기 스캔전극 및 상기 서스테인전극과 교차하는 데이터전극과 상기 서스테인전극 상에 정극성의 벽전하를 쌓는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 어드레스기간에 이어지는 서스테인 기간 동안 상기 스캔전극 및 상기 서스테인전극에 교대로 서스테인펄스를 인가하여 서스테인방전을 일으키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
