Claims (7)
- 설정된 양자화 스케일값에 대응하여 양자화 임계값을 설정하는 수속(收束) 정밀도 설정 수단과,상기 설정된 양자화 스케일값과 상기 수속 정밀도 설정 수단에 의해 설정된 상기 양자화 임계값에 기초하여 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 수속 정밀도 설정 수단은, 상기 양자화 스케일값이 크게 됨에 따라서, 상기 양자화 임계값이 보다 절사될 확률이 높아지도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,화상 신호를 블록 단위로 분할하는 블록 분할 수단과,상기 블록 변환 수단에 의해 분할된 상기 화상 신호의 각 블록에 대하여 변환 처리를 행하여 변환 계수를 출력하는 변환 수단과,상기 변환 수단으로부터 출력된 상기 변환 계수를 양자화하기 위한 양자화 스케일값을 설정하는 양자화 스케일값 설정 수단을 더 포함하며,상기 양자화 수단은, 상기 양자화 스케일값 설정 수단에 의해 설정된 상기 양자화 스케일값을 이용하여 양자화를 행하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 양자화 수단에 의해 양자화된 대표값을 가변 길이 부호화하는 부호화 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 장치.
- 설정된 양자화 스케일값에 대응하여 양자화 임계값을 설정하는 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계와,상기 설정된 양자화 스케일값과 상기 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계에 의해 설정된 상기 양자화 임계값에 기초하여 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화의 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 방법.
- 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화 방법을 컴퓨터 장치에 실행시키는 양자화 프로그램에 있어서,상기 양자화 방법은,설정된 양자화 스케일값에 대응하여 양자화 임계값을 설정하는 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계와,상기 설정된 양자화 스케일값과 상기 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계에 의해 설정된 상기 양자화 임계값에 기초하여 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화의 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 양자화 프로그램.
- 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화 방법을 컴퓨터 장치에 실행시키는 양자화 프로그램이 기록된 기록 매체에 있어서,상기 양자화 방법은,설정된 양자화 스케일값에 대응하여 양자화 임계값을 설정하는 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계와,상기 설정된 양자화 스케일값과 상기 수속 정밀도 설정의 단계에 의해 설정된 상기 양자화 임계값에 기초하여 화상 신호를 양자화하는 양자화의 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록 매체.
