Abstract
본 발명은 연마제, 습윤제, 기포제, 감미제와 같은 공지의 치약성분을 포함하는 치약조성물에 있어서: 게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 규조토-기능성 혼합물이 전체 중량의 10중량% 이내의 범주내에서 첨가되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 기능성 치약 조성물에 관한 것으로 유의성 있는 충치예방효과를 나타내며, 또한 일반 치약의 기능 이외에 규조토-기능성 혼합물의 첨가에 따른 유용한 작용으로 치주질환 및 기타 구강질환예방과 함께 치아를 건강하게 하는 기능성 치약으로의 활용을 기대할 수 있다.
Description
본 발명은 충치예방 및 치주질환 그리고 살균, 혈행순환 등등의 순기능을 제공하는 규조토 기능성 혼합물을 3.33중량%를 통상의 치약조성물에 함유시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 기능성 치약조성물에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 만족스런 치약 조성물은 치아에 대한 화장 효과, 즉 치아를 밝은색으로 유지시키는 효과를 가져야만 한다. 또한, 치약 조성물은 치태를 만족스럽게 세척 및 제거해야만 하며, 이에 의해 치아 부식의 예방을 돕고 잇몸 건강을 촉진해야 한다. 연마제는 단단히 고착된 지방막의 제거를 돕는다.
이 막은 통상적으로 치아를 세정한후 몇분내에 에나멜질에 고착되는 얇은 비세포성 당단백질-뮤코단백질 도포막으로 이루어진다. 대부분의 경우에, 막내에 수용된 각종 식품 색소의 존재는 치아의 변색의 원인이 된다. 이상적으로, 연마제는 경구 조직, 즉 상아질 및 에나멜질에 대해 최소의 손상 (연마) 을 가하면서 지방막의 만족스런 제거 (세정) 을 제공해야만 한다.
지방막 세정의 측면이외에도, 치석방지제(들)의 혼입은 추가의 장점을 제공한다. 치아의 치석 형성은 충치, 잇몸 및 치주 질환, 및 치아 손실의 주요 원인이된다. 치석은 세균, 상피세포, 백혈구, 대식구 및 기타 경구 삼출물의 혼합 마트릭스이다. 치석과 관련된 세균은 효소 및 내 독소를 분비할 수 있고, 이는 잇몸에 염증을 유발할수 있으며 염증성 치은염이 원인이 된다.
잇몸이 이 과정에 의해 크게 자극됨에 따라, 잇몸은 출혈되기 쉽고 그의 강도 및 회복력을 상실하며 치아로부터 분리된다. 이 분리는 결국 치주의 구멍을 생기게 하고, 이는 다시 치태의 축적, 분비 및 상당한 세균/독소를 일으킨다. 결국 이 과정은 구강의 경질 및 연질 조직의 파괴를 일으킨다.
일부 경우에 구강을 세정하고 치석 및 입의 악취를 제거하기 위한 다양한 약제의 사용이 인정되어 있다.

상술한 바와 같은 지방막의 세정 및 치석방지 활성을 위한 조성물에 대해 많은 개시가 있음에도 불구하고, 더욱 개선된 제품에 대한요구가 여전히 존재한다.
상술한 문제점을 해소하기 위한 본 발명의 목적은 충치예방 및 치주질환 그리고 살균, 혈행순환 등등의 순기능을 제공하는 규조토-기능성 혼합물을 3.33중량%를 통상의 치약조성물에 함유시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 기능성 치약 조성물를 제공하는 데 있다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 기능성 치약 조성물의 특징은, 연마제, 습윤제, 기포제, 감미제와 같은 공지의 치약성분을 포함하는 치약조성물에 있어서: 게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 규조토 기능성 혼합물이 전체 중량의 10중량% 이내의 범주내에서 첨가되어 있는 데 있다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 기능성 치약 조성물의 다른 특징은, 연마제, 습윤제, 기포제, 감미제와 같은 공지의 치약성분을 포함하는 치약조성물에 있어서: 게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 규조토 기능성 혼합물이 바람직하게는 전체 중량의 3.33중량% 첨가되어 있는 데 있다.
이하 본 발명의 실시 예에 의거하여 본 발명을 구체적으로 설명하고자 한다. 그러나 이들 실시 예는 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위한 것일 뿐, 어떤 의미로든 본 발명의 범위를 한정하지는 않는다.
우선적으로 아래의 표 1에서는 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 기능성 치약 조성물의 대략적인 조성비를 나타내고 있다.

상기와 같이 구성되는 치약의 조성물은 대략적으로 '안전하고 효과적인 양'을 사용하게 되는데, 이는 구강의 조직 및 구조에 해를 주지 않은채로 착색 및/또는 치석/치은염을 감소시키기 위해 충분한 양을 의미한다.
또한, 상기와 같이 구성되는 치약의 조성물은 대략적으로 '경구적으로 허용 가능한 캐리어'를 사용하게 되는데, 이 또한 안전하고 효과적인 방법으로 구강에 본 발명의 조성물을 적용하기 위해 사용될 수 있는 적절한 부형제를 의미한다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 조성물의 pH 는 약 6.5 내지 약 9.5이고, 바람직한 pH 범위는 약 6.5 내지 약 9.0 이고 가장 바람직한 pH 범위는 7.0 내지 약 9.0 이다.
본 발명은 실질적으로 규조토-기능성 혼합물에 있으므로 이를 중점적으로 살펴보기로 한다.
본 발명에서 규조토-기능성 혼합물이란 게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 혼합물로써 각 조성물 중 몇가지 대표적인 조성물의 특징은 다음과 같다.
우선, 게르마늄(Ge)의 경우 체내에 산소를 원할히 공급하며 독성오염물질의 분해 및 산화작용을 통해 인체내에 항암작용을 하는 인터페론의 생성에 도움을 줌. 또한, 함세포 파괴와 식임세포증가에 따른 강력한 살충작용 및 콜레스테롤 분해작용이 있다고 함(미국식품의약보건기구 발표).
또한, 칼슘(Ca)은 주로 인산과 결합하여 뼈ㆍ이[齒] 등에 함유되어 있으며, 그밖에 생리작용에도 관여한다고 알려짐(대한 광업진흥공사 연구소 발표).
이와 같은 특성을 갖는 각 조성물들을 혼합 탱크에서 혼합하여 치약을 생성하게 되는데, 혼합탱크의 자켓 온도를 약 150˚F (65℃) 내지 약 160˚F(71℃)로 고정시킨다. 혼합 탱크에 습윤제 및 물을첨가하고 교반을 시작한다. 온도가 약 120˚F(50℃)에 이르렀을 때, 플루오라이드, 감미제, 완충제, 킬레이트제, 착색제 및 산화티탄을 첨가한다. 연마제에 증점제를 첨가하고 얻어진 혼합물을 고 교반하에서 혼합탱크에 첨가한다. 계면활성제를 혼합물에 첨가하고 혼합을 계속한다. 탱크를 120˚F(50℃)로 식히고 향료를 첨가한다. 약 5 분간 혼합을 계속한다. 얻어진 조성물은 약 7의 pH를 갖는다.
고체 치약의 제조에 있어서, 바람직한 경도를 제공하기 위해서는 일부의 증점 물질을 첨가하는 것이 필요하다.
바람직한 증점제는 카르복시비닐 중합체, 카라기난, 히드록시에틸 셀룰로스및 소듐 카르복시메틸 셀룰로스 및 소듐카르복시메틸 히드록시에틸 셀룰로오스와 같은 셀룰로스 에테르의 수용성 염이다. 카라야 고무, 크산탄 고무, 아라비아 고무, 및 트라가칸트 고무와 같은 천연 고무도 사용될 수 있다. 증점제는 총 조성물의 0.5 내지 5.0 중량% 의 양으로 사용될 수 있다.
이상의 설명에서 본 발명은 특정의 실시 예와 관련하여 도시 및 설명하였지만, 특허청구범위에 의해 나타난 발명의 사상 및 영역으로부터 벗어나지 않는 한도내에서 다양한 개조 및 변화가 가능하다는 것을 당 업계에서 통상의 지식을 가진자라면 누구나 쉽게 알 수 있을 것이다.
이상에서 설명한 바와 같은 본 발명에 따른 기능성 치약조성물은 유의성 있는 충치예방효과를 나타내며, 또한 일반 치약의 기능 이외에 규조토-기능성 혼합물의 첨가에 따른 유용한 작용으로 치주질환 및 기타 구강질환예방과 함께 치아를 건강하게 하는 기능성 치약으로의 활용을 기대할 수 있다.
Claims (2)
- 연마제, 습윤제, 기포제, 감미제와 같은 공지의 치약성분을 포함하는 치약조성물에 있어서:게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 규조토-기능성 혼합물이 전체 중량의 10중량% 이내의 범주내에서 첨가되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 기능성 치약조성물.
- 연마제, 습윤제, 기포제, 감미제와 같은 공지의 치약성분을 포함하는 치약조성물에 있어서:게르마늄(Ge), 홀뮴(Ho), 셀레늄(Se), 세륨(Ce), 칼슘(Ca), 마그네슘(Mg), 칼륨(K), 나트륨(Na) 및 규소(Si) 등으로 이루어진 규조토-기능성 혼합물이 바람직하게는 전체 중량의 3.33중량% 첨가되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 기능성 치약 조성물.
