Claims (3)
- 리튬이온 배터리(10)의 전압 특성차를 감지하고, 감지된 특성차를 토대로 상위임계전압과 하위임계전압을 비교하여 비교된 결과에 따라 배터리가 충전 또는 방전되도록 하거나 또는 종료되도록 하는 제어신호를 외부로 출력하는 제어수단(20); 및상기 제어수단으로부터 출력된 제어신호에 따라 배터리 충전 또는 방전이 접속 또는 종료되도록 구동신호를 출력하는 제 1 및 제 2 구동수단(40, 30)을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 배터리 보호회로.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은,직렬과 병렬로 연결된 복수개의 리튬이온 배터리에 대한 각각의 특성차를 감지하고, 감지된 신호를 불감응시간 후에 비교회로(55)로 출력하고, 출력된 신호를 토대로 비교회로에서 제 1 또는 제 2 구동수단을 통해 충전 및 방전이 제어되도록 하는 제 1 제어IC(51) 및 제 2 제어IC(53)를 포함하여 구성됨으로써 과충전, 과방전, 과전류시 제 1 또는 제 2 구동수단을 오프시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 배터리 보호회로.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은,상기 리튬이온 배터리 전압이 과충전 검출전압 이상 또는 과전류 검출전압 이상 또는 과방전 검출전압이하이면, 상기 제 1 IC 및 제 2 IC의 과충전검출회로 또는 과방전 검출회로가 동작되고, 불감응 설정회로를 작동시켜 상기 불감응 설정회로에 연결된 콘덴서가 충전되어 전압임계값이 초과되면, 지연 시간이 결정되어 비교회로에 신호를 출력하는 한편, 출력된 신호를 토대로 비교회로에서 해당 단자 출력을 LOW레벨로 출력하여 제 1 또는 제 2 구동수단을 통해 배터리 충전 또는 방전이 종료되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리튬이온 배터리 보호회로.
