Claims (7)
- 하기 수학식 1의 값이 0.1 내지 0.4이고 하기 수학식 2의 값이 200 내지 350nm인 위상차 필름; 및상기 위상차 필름의 양쪽 면 중 한쪽 면에 제공되는 것으로 하기 수학식 3의 관계를 만족시키는 두께 10㎛ 이하의 굴절률 이방성 투명층을 포함하는 광학 시이트:수학식 1수학식 2수학식 3상기 식에서,d는 위상차 필름의 두께이고,nz는 위상차 필름의 두께(d) 방향을 나타내는 Z축 방향의 굴절률이고,nx는 Z축에 수직한 면에서의 위상차 필름의 1방향을 나타내면서 면내 최대 굴절률 방향을 나타내는 X축 방향의 굴절률이고,ny는 상기 Z축 및 X축 둘다에 수직한 위상차 필름의 1방향을 나타내는 Y축 방향의 굴절률이다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,투명층이 유기 물질의 코팅 필름으로부터 제조되는 광학 시이트.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,투명층이 콜레스테릭(cholestric) 액정층으로 이루어지는 광학 시이트.
- 제 1 항에 따른 광학 시이트와 편광 필름의 적층체를 포함하는 편광판.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,편광 필름이 광학시이트의 투명층 면의 반대쪽에 있는 광학 시이트 면에 배치되어서 광학 시이트에서 편광 필름의 X축 방향이 위상차 필름의 흡수축과 수직으로 교차하는 편광판.
- 수직 배향형 액정 셀; 및상기 셀의 양면에 각각 제공되어 있는 제 5 항에 따르는 1쌍의 편광판을 포함하고;상기 1쌍의 편광판 각각에서의 투명층이 상기 셀의 양쪽 면 중 상응하는 면에 위치하고;상기 셀의 양쪽 면에 배치된 1쌍의 편광판이 교차된 니콜(crossed-Nicol)의 형태로 배치되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,액정 셀의 양쪽 면에 배치된 편광판에 위치하는 투명층에 대한 하기 수학식 4의 값과 상기 투명층 두께의 곱으로 정의되는 두께 방향 위상차의 절대값의 합이 액정 셀의 두께 방향 위상차의 절대값의 0.5배 내지 1.3배인 액정 표시 장치:수학식 4상기 식에서,nz는 위상차 필름의 두께(d) 방향을 나타내는 Z축 방향의 굴절률이고,nx는 Z축에 수직한 면에서의 위상차 필름의 1방향을 나타내면서 면내 최대 굴절률 방향을 나타내는 X축 방향의 굴절률이고,ny는 상기 Z축 및 X축 둘다에 수직한 위상차 필름의 1방향을 나타내는 Y축 방향의 굴절률이다.
