Claims (10)
- 대체로 육각형 또는 팔각형의 기본 형상을 갖고 절삭 삽입체의 상면(11)과 모서리면(13) 사이의 전이부에 의해 형성된 여섯개 또는 여덟개의 절삭 모서리(16)를 포함하며, 상기 상면(11)은 레이크면을 한정하고 상기 모서리면(13)은 유격면을 한정하며, 상기 모서리면(13)은 절삭 삽입체의 중심축(20)에 평행한 평면(P)과 제1 유격각(α)을 형성하는 양호하게는 밀링용인 절삭 삽입체에 있어서,다른 모든 절삭 모서리는 두개의 주 절삭 모서리 사이에 위치된 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B)를 연결하는 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A)이며, 직경 방향으로 대향된 두개의 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B) 사이의 제1 거리(L2)는 직경 방향으로 대향된 두개의 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A) 사이의 제2 거리(L3)보다 길며, 제1 거리(L2)는 제2 거리(L3)보다 약 1% 내지 5%, 양호하게는 약 1.5% 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 삽입체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모서리면(13)에는 파편의 탈출 영역을 구성하도록 구비된 단차(18)가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 삽입체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 절삭 삽입체에 파여진 가상원(C)은 각 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B)와 접촉하고 각각의 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A)는 부분적으로 원(C)의 방사상 내측으로 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 삽입체.
- 제1항, 제2항, 또는 제3항에 있어서, 상기 상면(11)은 대체로 절삭 삽입체의 주위 방향에 위치된 주위 방향 랜드(51)와 상기 랜드(51)로부터 저면(53)까지 내향으로 그리고 하향으로 경사진 별 형상의 림(53)에 의해 한정되고 깊이(Z)가 약 0.1 mm인 리세스(52)를 포함하며, 상기 랜드(51)와 모서리면(13) 사이의 교차선은 네 쌍의 절삭 모서리(55A, 55B 내지 58A, 58B)를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 삽입체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 단차(18)는 절삭 삽입체의 임의의 종단면에서 절삭 삽입체의 중심선(20)으로부터 절삭 삽입체의 주위 방향까지의 중심선(20)에 수직한 거리는 단차(18) 위보다는 단차(18) 아래쪽이 작도록 되어 있으며, 절삭 삽입체의 하면(12)으로부터 단차(18)까지의 거리(h1)가 하면(12)으로부터 절삭 모서리(16)까지의 거리(h)의 15 내지 60%이고 상기 단차는 유격면 방사상 내측 파편에 대한 탈출 영역을 구성하도록 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 삽입체.
- 홀더 및 적어도 두개의 절삭 삽입체를 포함하며, 상기 절삭 삽입체(10, 50)는 대체로 육각형 또는 팔각형의 기본 형상을 가지고 절삭 삽입체(10, 50)의 상면(11)과 모서리면(13) 사이의 전이부에 의해 발생된 여섯개 또는 여덟개의 절삭 모서리(16)를 각각 포함하며, 상기 상면(11)은 레이크면이고 상기 모서리면(13)은 유격면이며, 상기 모서리면(13)은 삽입체의 중심축(20)에 평행한 평면(P)과 제1 유격각(α)을 형성하는 밀링 커터에 있어서,상기 절삭 삽입체 중 적어도 하나는 와이퍼 삽입체(50)이며, 상기 와이퍼 삽입체(50)의 모든 다른 절삭 모서리는 두개의 주 절삭 모서리 사이에 위치된 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B)를 연결하는 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A)이며, 직경 방향으로 대향된 두개의 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B) 사이의 제1 거리(L2)는 직경 방향으로 대향된 두개의 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A) 사이의 제2 거리(L3)보다 길며, 제1 거리(L2)는 제2 거리(L3)보다 약 1% 내지 5%, 양호하게는 약 1.5% 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 밀링 커터.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 모서리면(13)에는 파편의 탈출 영역을 구성하도록 구비된 단차(18)가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 밀링 커터.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 상기 와이퍼 삽입체(50) 내에 파여진 가상원(C)은 각 와이퍼 모서리(55B 내지 58B)를 접촉하고 있고 와이퍼 삽입체의 각각의 주 절삭 모서리(55A 내지 58A)는 부분적으로 원(C)의 방사상 내측으로 연장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀링 커터.
- 제6항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 와이퍼 삽입체(50)의 상기 상면(11)은 대체로 와이퍼 삽입체(50)의 주위 방향에 위치된 주위 방향 랜드(51)와, 상기 랜드(51)로부터 저면(53)까지 내향으로 그리고 하향으로 경사진 별 형상의 림(53)에 의해 한정되고 깊이(Z)가 약 0.1 mm인 리세스(52)를 포함하며, 상기 랜드(51)와 모서리면(13) 사이의 교차선은 네 쌍의 절삭 모서리(55A, 55B 내지 58A, 58B)를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀링 커터.
