Claims (15)
- 복수의 화소 영역이 정의되는 제 1 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 마주하는 제 2 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판의 사이에 개재된 콜레스테릭 액정층;
상기 제 2 기판 상에 위치하는 선편광부재;
상기 선편광부재와 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층 사이에 위치하는 위상차 지연부재;
상기 제 1 기판 상에 위치하는 흡광층; 및
상기 화소 영역에 대응하고 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층과 상기 흡광층의 사이에 개재되는 광변환부재를 포함하고,
상기 콜레스테릭 액정층은 플래너상에서 400nm 내지 500nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 청색광을 선택적으로 반사하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 복수의 화소 영역이 정의되는 제 1 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 마주하는 제 2 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판의 사이에 개재된 콜레스테릭 액정층;
상기 제 2 기판 상에 위치하는 선편광부재;
상기 선편광부재와 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층 사이에 위치하는 위상차 지연부재;
상기 제 1 기판 상에 위치하는 흡광층; 및
상기 화소 영역에 대응하고 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층과 상기 흡광층의 사이에 개재되는 광변환부재를 포함하고,
상기 콜레스테릭 액정층은 호메오트로픽상에서 입사된 400nm 내지 500nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 청색광, 500nm 내지 570nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 녹색광 및 620nm 내지 750nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 적색광을 투과시키고,
상기 광변환부재는 청색 화소 영역에 위치하고 상기 제 1 청색광에 여기되어 제 2 청색광을 출사하는 제 1 광변환부재;
녹색 화소 영역에 위치하고 상기 제 1 청색광에 여기되어 제 2 녹색광을 출사하는 제 2 광변환부재; 및
적색 화소 영역에 위치하고 상기 제 1 청색광에 여기되어 제 2 적색광을 출사하는 제 3 광변환부재;를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 콜레스테릭 액정층은 플래너상에서 400nm 내지 500nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 청색광을 선택적으로 반사하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 위상차 지연 부재는 1/4 λ 위상차판인 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 광변환부재는 양자점 및 양자점 로드 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 양자점 또는 양자점 로드는 ZnS, ZnSe, ZnTe, CdS, CdSe, CdTe, HgS, HgSe, HgTe, PbS, PbSe, PbTe, AlN, AlP, AlAs, AlSb, GaN, GaAs, GaSb, InN, InP, InAs, InSb, InGaP 및 InZnP 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 흡광층은 가시광을 흡수하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 흡광층은 몰리브덴(Mo), 크롬(Cr), 텅스텐(W), 니켈(Ni) 등의 금속 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 복수의 화소 영역이 정의되는 제 1 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 마주하는 제 2 기판;
상기 제 1 기판과 상기 제 2 기판의 사이에 개재된 콜레스테릭 액정층;
상기 제 2 기판 상에 위치하는 편광부재;
상기 편광부재와 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층 사이에 위치하는 위상차 지연부재;
청색 화소 영역에 위치하고 입력광에 여기되어 제 2 청색광을 출사하는 제 1 광변환부재;
녹색 화소 영역에 위치하고 입력광에 여기되어 녹색광을 출사하는 제 2 광변환부재;
적색 화소 영역에 위치하고 입력광에 여기되어 적색광을 출사하는 제 3 광변환부재; 및
상기 제 1 내지 제 3 광변환부재 중 적어도 어느 하나의 광변환부재를 사이에 두고 콜레스테릭 액정층과 대향하는 이색 반사층;을 포함하고,
상기 콜레스테릭 액정층은 플래너상에서 400nm 내지 500nm의 파장 범위를 갖는 제 1 청색광을 선택적으로 반사하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 위상차 지연 부재는 1/4 λ 위상차판인 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 내지 제 3 광 변환부재는 양자점 및 양자점 로드 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 삭제
- 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 이색 반사층은 입력광 중 청색광을 반사하고, 녹색광 및 적색광을 투과하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 13 항에 있어서,
상기 이색 반사층은 제 1 광변환부재를 포함하는 화소 영역에 개재되고,
상기 제 2 광변환부재 및 제 3 광변환부재를 포함하는 화소 영역에 배치되어 가시광을 흡수하는 흡광층을 더 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치. - 제 13 항에 있어서,
상기 이색 반사층을 사이에 두고 상기 제 1 내지 제 3 광변환부재와 마주하는 흡광층을 더 포함하는 반사형 액정 표시장치.
