- 편광자; 상기 편광자의 상부면에 적층된 제1보호층; 및 상기 편광자의 하부면에 적층된 제2보호층을 포함하고,
상기 편광자의 면내 방향 중 굴절률이 높은 축을 기준(0°)이라고 할 때 상기 제1보호층의 면내 방향 중 굴절률이 낮은 축이 이루는 각도는 -5° 내지 +5°이고,
상기 제1보호층은 파장 550nm에서 면내 위상차 Re가 5,000nm 이상이고,
상기 제2보호층은 포지티브 C 플레이트층을 포함하고, 상기 제2보호층은 하기 식 1 및 하기 식 2를 만족하는 것인, IPS 모드용 편광판:
