Claims (18)
- IPS 모드용 액정 패널, 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 일면에 적층된 제1 편광판 및 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 다른 일면에 적층된 제2 편광판을 포함하고,
상기 제1 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널로부터 순차적으로 적층된 포지티브 C 플레이트, 위상차층 및 제1편광자를 포함하고,
상기 위상차층은 네가티브 B 플레이트이고, 파장 550nm에서 면내 위상차(Re)가 40nm 내지 60nm, 파장 550nm에서 두께 방향 위상차(Rth)가 100nm 내지 150nm이고,
상기 포지티브 C 플레이트는 파장 550nm에서 두께 방향 위상차(Rth)가 -170nm 내지 -80nm이고,
상기 제2 편광판은 네가티브 C 플레이트를 포함하는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널로부터 순차적으로 상기 네가티브 C 플레이트 및 제2 편광자를 포함하고,
상기 네가티브 C 플레이트는 파장 550nm에서 두께 방향 위상차(Rth)가 0nm 내지 70nm인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널로부터 순차적으로 상기 네가티브 C 플레이트 및 제2 편광자를 포함하고,
상기 네가티브 C 플레이트는 파장 550nm에서 면내 위상차(Re)가 0nm 내지 30nm인 것인 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 위상차층은 플랫 파장 분산성인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 편광자의 흡수축과 상기 위상차층의 지상축(slow axis)이 이루는 각도는 85° 내지 95°인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포지티브 C 플레이트는 정파장 분산성인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포지티브 C 플레이트는 셀룰로스 에스테르계 화합물을 포함하는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 셀룰로스 에스테르계 화합물은 셀룰로스 아세테이트(CA), 셀룰로스 아세테이트 프로피오네이트(CAP), 셀룰로스 아세테이트 부티레이트(CAB) 중 1종 이상을 포함하는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포지티브 C 플레이트는 상기 위상차층에 직접적으로 형성된 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 포지티브 C 플레이트와 상기 위상차층의 적층체는 파장 550nm에서 면내 위상차(Re)가 40nm 내지 60nm, 두께 방향 위상차(Rth)가 -70nm 내지 70nm인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1편광자는 상기 위상차층과 대향하여 보호층이 더 적층된 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 광 입사면에 적층되고 상기 제2 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 광 출사면에 적층되는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 표시 화면의 장변 방향을 0°라고 할 때 액정의 배향 방향이 -5° 내지 5°의 각도를 이루는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 액정의 배향 방향과 상기 제1 편광판의 제1편광자의 흡수축이 이루는 각도는 85° 내지 95°인 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 광 출사면에 적층되고 상기 제2 편광판은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 광 입사면에 적층되는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널은 상기 IPS 모드용 액정 패널의 표시 화면의 장변 방향을 0°라고 할 때 액정의 배향 방향이 85° 내지 95°의 각도를 이루는 것인, 액정표시장치.
- 제16항에 있어서, 상기 액정의 배향 방향과 상기 제1 편광판의 제1편광자의 흡수축이 이루는 각도는 85° 내지 95°인 것인, 액정표시장치.
