Claims (7)
- 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물(carbon molecular sieve adsorbent composition)을 제조하는 방법으로서,
활성탄 상에 폴리머를 침착시키는 단계로서, 상기 활성탄은 전체적으로 6 옹스트롬보다 큰 유효 미세기공 크기를 갖는 미세기공을 포함하며, 상기 폴리머는 상기 미세기공 내에 또는 상기 미세기공 주위에 침착되며, 상기 침착은,
(1) 상기 활성탄에 적어도 1종의 모노머를 함침시킨 다음, 상기 적어도 1종의 모노머를 중합시켜 상기 폴리머를 형성하는 단계; 또는
(2) 상기 활성탄에 적어도 1종의 부분적으로 중합된 모노머를 함침시키고, 함침시킨 후에 상기 적어도 1종의 부분적으로 중합된 모노머의 중합 완료를 허용하거나 촉진시켜 상기 폴리머를 형성하는 단계에 의해 수행되는, 상기 침착시키는 단계,
400℃ 내지 1000℃의 온도에서 상기 활성탄과 침착된 상기 폴리머를 함께 탄화시켜, 전체적으로 4.3 옹스트롬 초과 내지 6 옹스트롬 범위의 유효 미세기공 크기를 갖는 미세기공을 갖는 개질된 활성탄을 형성하는 단계; 및
불활성 대기 하에 1000℃ 내지 1500℃ 범위의 온도에서 상기 개질된 활성탄을 어닐링시켜, 4.0 옹스트롬 내지 4.3 옹스트롬의 유효 미세기공 크기를 갖는 상기 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물을 제조하는 방법. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 모노머는 푸르푸릴 알코올; 포르말린; 디비닐벤젠; 페놀; 알데하이드; 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서, 상기 폴리머는 푸르푸릴 알코올; 푸르푸릴 알코올-포름알데하이드; 폴리디비닐-벤젠; 페놀류의 폴리머; 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
- ◈청구항 4은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.◈청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서, 질소 브루나우어-에메트-텔러 (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller) 방법에 의해 표면적이 측정된 때에, 상기 활성탄은 적어도 500 m2/g의 표면적을 가지며 상기 개질된 활성탄은 적어도 200 m2/g의 표면적을 갖는, 방법.
- 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서, 어닐링 가열 온도는 1100℃ 내지 1300℃인, 방법.
- ◈청구항 6은(는) 설정등록료 납부시 포기되었습니다.◈청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서, 상기 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물은 (1) 0.4 MPa의 압력과 35℃의 온도에서 1 wt% 이상의 프로필렌 흡착 용량; (2) 10분 미만의 50%의 평형 프로필렌 흡착에 도달하는 시간; 또는 (3) (1) 및 (2) 둘 다로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 특성을 갖는, 방법.
- 하기 단계를 포함하는 공정에 의해 제조되는, 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물:

400℃ 내지 1000℃ 사이의 온도에서 상기 활성탄과 침착된 상기 폴리머를 함께 탄화시켜, 전체적으로 4.3 옹스트롬 초과 내지 6 옹스트롬 범위의 유효 미세기공 크기를 갖는 미세기공을 갖는 개질된 활성탄을 형성하는 단계; 및
불활성 대기 하에 1000℃ 내지 1500℃ 범위의 온도에서 상기 개질된 활성탄을 어닐링시켜, 4.0 옹스트롬 내지 4.3 옹스트롬의 유효 미세기공 크기를 갖는 상기 탄소 분자체 흡착제 조성물을 형성하는 단계.
