Claims (20)
- 제1 면으로서, 중심 공동 부분(central cavity portion), 및 상기 제1 면으로부터 돌출되고 상기 중심 공동 부분과 동일 평면 상에 있지 않은 플랫폼 부분(platform portion)을 포함하는, 상기 제1 면;
상기 제1 면 반대편의 제2 면; 및
상기 플랫폼 부분으로부터 제1 방향으로 연장되는 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들(hollow microneedles)
을 포함하고,
상기 플랫폼 부분은 상기 중심 공동 부분을 둘러싸고,
상기 플랫폼 부분은 상기 중심 공동 부분에 근접한 내측 주연부(inner perimeter), 및 상기 중심 공동 부분으로부터 원위의 외측 주연부(outer perimeter)를 포함하고,
상기 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들은 각각,
외측 표면;
기부, 및 상기 외측 표면의 제1 섹션에 의해 정해지는 제1 형상을 갖는 기부 세그먼트(base segment);
팁, 및 상기 외측 표면의 제2 섹션에 의해 정해지고 상기 제1 형상과 구별되는 제2 형상을 갖는 팁 세그먼트(tip segment);
상기 기부 세그먼트와 상기 팁 세그먼트를 구분하는 전이 평면(transition plane); 및
중심축
을 포함하는 본체를 포함하고,
상기 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들 각각의 상기 중심축과 상기 플랫폼 부분의 상기 외측 주연부로부터 상기 마이크로니들의 상기 전이 평면을 통해 연장되는 최단 선(shortest line)에 의해 정해지는 제1 각도가 50°초과 및 85°이하이고,
상기 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들 중 적어도 하나의 중공형 마이크로니들은,
기부;
중심축 및 본체 직경을 갖는 세장형 본체(elongated body);
팁, 상기 중심축에 대해 대각선 방향으로 배향되고 상기 본체 직경의 적어도 75%를 통해 연장되는 제1 경사면(bevel face), 상기 중심축에 수직하게 배향되고 상기 제1 경사면과 교차하는 제2 경사면, 상기 제1 경사면의 제1 에지와 상기 제2 경사면의 제2 에지에 의해 정해지는 경사형 개구(bevel opening)를 포함하는 팁 부분; 및
상기 경사형 개구로부터 상기 본체 내로 축방향으로 연장되는 중공형 채널
을 포함하는, 물품(article). - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 면은 상기 플랫폼 부분의 상기 외측 주연부의 적어도 일부로부터 측방향으로 연장되는 마이크로니들이 없는 주변부 부분(microneedle-free peripheral portion)을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 주변부 부분은 상기 제1 방향과 반대인 제2 방향으로 상기 플랫폼 부분으로부터 멀어지게 기울어지는, 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물품은 상기 플랫폼 부분으로부터 연장되는 측벽 부분을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 측벽 부분은 상기 제1 방향과 반대로 연장되는, 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중심 공동은 폐쇄된 공동인, 물품.

팁, 및 상기 외측 표면의 제2 섹션에 의해 정해지고 상기 제1 형상과 구별되는 제2 형상을 갖는 팁 세그먼트(tip segment);
상기 기부 세그먼트와 상기 팁 세그먼트를 구분하는 전이 평면(transition plane); 및
중심축
을 포함하는 본체를 포함하고,
상기 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들 각각의 상기 중심축과 상기 플랫폼 부분의 상기 외측 주연부로부터 상기 마이크로니들의 상기 전이 평면을 통해 연장되는 최단 선(shortest line)에 의해 정해지는 제1 각도가 50° 초과 및 85° 이하이고,
상기 3개 이상의 중공형 마이크로니들들 중 적어도 하나의 중공형 마이크로니들은,
기부;
중심축을 갖는 세장형 본체;
팁, 경사진 표면, 및 상기 경사진 표면 내의 경사형 개구를 포함하는 팁 부분;
상기 경사형 개구로부터 상기 세장형 본체의 적어도 일부분을 통해 축방향으로 연장되고, 상기 중심축과 정렬되는 제1 벽을 갖는, 제1 채널; 및
상기 제1 채널로부터 상기 경사형 개구까지 반경방향으로 연장되고, 상기 중심축에 직교하게 배향되는 제2 벽을 갖는, 제2 채널
을 포함하고,
상기 제1 채널과 제2 채널은 병합되어 상기 경사형 개구를 형성하는, 물품. - 주사 및 주입 장치(injection and infusion apparatus)로서,
제1항에 따른 물품;
중공형-마이크로니들 어레이 물품 홀더(holder);
상기 물품을 제1 위치로부터 제2 위치로 이동시키도록 구성되는 제1 에너지 저장 구성요소(stored energy component); 및
유체를 함유하고 상기 중공형 마이크로니들들과 유체 연통하는 저장소(reservoir)
를 포함하고,
상기 장치는 상기 물품을 사전결정된 방향으로 사전결정된 속도로 추진시키도록 구성되는, 주사 및 주입 장치. - 제9항에 있어서, 상기 사전결정된 속도는 2 m/초 내지 20 m/초인, 주사 및 주입 장치.
