Claims (16)
- 기판 위에 교차하여 복수의 서브-화소(sub pixel)들을 정의하는 복수의 게이트라인들과 데이터라인들;
상기 게이트라인에 대해 나란한 방향으로, 상기 서브-화소의 하측과 상기 게이트라인 사이에 배치되는 공통라인을 더 포함하며,
상기 복수의 서브-화소 중 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 배치되며, 제1 컨택홀을 통해 상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 제1 화소전극 접속부 및 제2 컨택홀을 통해 다른 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 제2 화소전극 접속부를 더 포함하고,
상기 공통라인과 중첩하는 상기 제1 화소전극 접속부 및 제2 화소전극 접속부를 포함하며,
좌우로 이웃하는 상기 서브-화소들 중 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 함께 구비되는 2개의 박막트랜지스터들; 및
상기 서브-화소에 교대로 배치되는 복수의 공통전극들과 화소전극들을 포함하며,
상기 2개의 박막트랜지스터들 중 어느 하나의 박막트랜지스터는 상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소에 연결되고, 다른 하나의 박막트랜지스터는 다른 하나의 서브-화소에 연결되고,
상기 복수의 서브-화소는 제1 방향으로 배열된 로우 서브-화소 및 제2 방향으로 배열된 컬럼 서브-화소를 포함하고,
상기 로우 서브-화소 내에서 인접한 두 개의 서브-화소는 상기 제2 방향으로 길이가 서로 다르고,
상기 컬럼 서브-화소 내에서 인접한 두 개의 서브-화소는 상기 제2 방향으로 길이가 서로 다른 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 서브-화소에 구비되는 컬러필터; 및
상하로 이웃하는 상기 서브-화소 사이의 경계에 구비되며, 적어도 하나의 컬러필터로 구성된 차광층을 더 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 차광층은 적색 컬러필터 위에 청색 컬러필터가 적층되어 구성된 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 공통라인은 상기 제1 화소전극 접속부, 제2 화소전극 접속부가 중첩하는 영역에서 상기 제2 방향으로 연장되는 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 데이터라인의 적어도 일측에 배치되어 상기 공통라인에 연결되는 제1 차폐라인; 및
상기 데이터라인을 가리도록 상기 데이터라인의 상부에 배치되는 제2 차폐라인을 더 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 제1 박막트랜지스터, 제2 박막트랜지스터 및 커패시터가 배치되고,
상기 커패시터는 하부 스토리지 전극과 상부 스토리지 전극으로 구성되며,
상기 하부 스토리지 전극은 상기 공통 라인으로부터 돌출하여 구성되고,
상기 상부 스토리지 전극은 상기 제1 박막트랜지스터, 제2 박막트랜지스터의 드레인 전극으로부터 연장되어 구성되는 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제2 화소전극 접속부는, 상기 좌우로 이웃하는 서브-화소들 사이에 배치되는 데이터라인을 거쳐 상기 다른 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 서브-화소들은 적색 서브-화소와 녹색 서브-화소 및 청색 서브-화소로 구성되며,
각각의 로우(row) 서브-화소는 상기 적색 서브-화소와 상기 녹색 서브-화소 및 상기 청색 서브-화소가 순서대로 반복 배열되고,
동일한 칼럼(column) 서브-화소는 동일한 컬러의 상기 적색 서브-화소, 상기 녹색 서브-화소, 또는 상기 청색 서브-화소가 반복 배열되는 액정표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 서브-화소들은 적색 서브-화소, 녹색 서브-화소, 청색 서브-화소 및 백색 서브-화소로 구성되며,
각각의 로우 서브-화소는 상기 적색 서브-화소, 상기 녹색 서브-화소, 상기 청색 서브-화소 및 상기 백색 서브-화소가 순서대로 반복 배열되고,
동일한 칼럼 서브-화소는 다른 2개의 컬러의 서브-화소가 반복 배열되는 액정표시장치. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 동일한 칼럼 서브-화소는, 상기 적색 서브-화소와 상기 청색 서브-화소가 반복 배열되거나 상기 녹색 서브-화소와 상기 백색 서브-화소가 반복 배열되는 액정표시장치. - 기판 위에 교차하여 복수의 서브-화소(sub pixel)들을 정의하는 복수의 게이트라인들과 데이터라인들;
상기 게이트라인에 대해 나란한 방향으로, 상기 서브-화소의 하측과 상기 게이트라인 사이에 배치되는 공통라인을 더 포함하며,
상기 복수의 서브-화소 중 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 배치되며, 제1 컨택홀을 통해 상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 제1 화소전극 접속부 및 제2 컨택홀을 통해 다른 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 제2 화소전극 접속부를 더 포함하고,
상기 공통라인과 중첩하는 상기 제1 화소전극 접속부 및 상기 제2 화소전극 접속부를 포함하며,
좌우로 이웃하는 상기 서브-화소들 중 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 함께 구비되는 2개의 박막트랜지스터들; 및
상기 서브-화소에 교대로 배치되는 복수의 공통전극들과 화소전극들을 포함하며,
상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부는 상기 2개의 박막트랜지스터들이 함께 구비되는 반면, 다른 서브-화소의 회로부는 박막트랜지스터가 구비되지 않아 비대칭 서브-화소 구조를 가지며,
상기 복수의 서브-화소는 제1 방향으로 배열된 로우 서브-화소 및 제2 방향으로 배열된 컬럼 서브-화소를 포함하고,
상기 로우 서브-화소 내에서 인접한 두 개의 서브-화소는 상기 제2 방향으로 길이가 서로 다르고,
상기 컬럼 서브-화소 내에서 인접한 두 개의 서브-화소는 상기 제2 방향으로 길이가 서로 다른 액정표시장치. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 서브-화소에 구비되는 컬러필터; 및
상하로 이웃하는 상기 서브-화소 사이의 경계에 구비되며, 적어도 하나의 컬러필터로 구성된 차광층을 더 포함하는 액정표시장치. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 공통라인은 상기 제1 화소전극 접속부, 제2 화소전극 접속부가 중첩하는 영역에서 상기 제2 방향으로 연장되는 액정표시장치. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 2개의 박막트랜지스터들 중 어느 하나의 박막트랜지스터는 상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소에 연결되고, 다른 하나의 박막트랜지스터는 상기 다른 하나의 서브-화소에 연결되는 액정표시장치. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 어느 하나의 서브-화소의 회로부 내에 제1 박막트랜지스터, 제2 박막트랜지스터 및 커패시터가 배치되고,
상기 커패시터는 하부 스토리지 전극과 상부 스토리지 전극으로 구성되며,
상기 하부 스토리지 전극은 상기 공통 라인으로부터 돌출하여 구성되고,
상기 상부 스토리지 전극은 상기 제1 박막트랜지스터, 제2 박막트랜지스터의 드레인 전극으로부터 연장되어 구성되는 액정표시장치. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 제2 화소전극 접속부는, 상기 좌우로 이웃하는 서브-화소들 사이에 배치되는 데이터라인을 거쳐 상기 다른 하나의 서브-화소의 화소전극과 연결되는 액정표시장치.
