본 발명에 따르면, 폐수 중의 불소를 제거할 경우 염기도가 제로인 단분자 무기 응집제이므로 Al 당량 대비 불소와의 반응을 극대화할 수 있어 폐수 중의 불소 제거 효율이 매우 우수한 장점을 가지며, 상온, 상압 조건에서 장기 보관하더라도 석출물이 석출되지 않는 등 자체 저장 안정성도 우수한 장점이 있다. 또한, 단분자성 염화알루미늄계 무기 응집제를 제조함에 있어서 1차로 염기도가 제로(O)에 가까운 염화알루미늄계 화합물을 제조하고 여기에 반응 조절제로서 산, 철계응집제 및 희토류가 일정 비율로 혼합된 혼합물을 투입함에 의해 공정의 컨트롤이 용이하고, 얻어지는 단분자성 염화알루미늄계 무기 응집제가 잔류하는 2가 금속 이온(free ion)으로 인해 불소 음이온과의 결합력이 높아져서 침강속도 및 응집 효율을 더욱 증대시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Claims (6)
- (1) 수산화알루미늄(Al(OH)3, 산화알루미늄 62 질량%)과 염산(HCl 35 질량%)을 17∼26.5 : 100의 중량비로 혼합하여 혼합액을 제조하고, 상기 얻어진 혼합액을 90 ~ 170 ℃의 온도 및 3~7 kgf/cm2의 압력하에서 1 ~ 5시간 동안 반응시켜, 산화알루미늄(Al2O3) 9~13% 농도를 갖는 염기도 제로의 알루미늄염화물을 제조하는 제1단계; 및
(2) 상기 얻어진 알루미늄염화물 100 중량부에 산 : 철계응집제 : 희토류가 1:0.01~1.0:0.01~0.5 중량비로 혼합된 혼합물을 18 ~ 85 중량부의 비율로 혼합하여 반응시킴에 의해 산화알루미늄(Al2O3) 7~11% 농도를 갖는 알루미늄염화물을 제조하는 제2단계; 를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 염기도 제로의 단분자성 염화알루미늄계 무기 응집제의 제조 방법으로서,
상기 제2단계에서 사용되는 산은 염산, 황산, 질산, 인산으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 또는 2종 이상의 혼합이고, 상기 철계 응집제는 염화제1철, 염화제2철, 황산제1철, 황산제2철 중에서 선택된 1종 또는 2종 이상의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하며,
상기 제2단계에서의 반응은 90 ~ 170 ℃에서 1 ~ 5시간 수행 동안 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단분자성 염화알루미늄계 무기 응집제의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 제1단계의 염산은 염산 단독이거나, 황산, 질산, 인산으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상이 25 중량% 이하에서 염산과 혼합된 염산 혼합물이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 단분자성 염화알루미늄계 무기 응집제의 제조 방법.
