Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 구현예에 따른 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 제조 과정을 나타내는 개략도이다.
도 3은 도 1에서의 PEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막에 촉매층을 형성하는 과정을 나타내는 개략도이다.
도 4는 도 1에서의 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막에 촉매층을 형성하는 과정을 나타내는 개략도이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 PEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 조밀 층의 표면(a), 및 다공성 층의 표면(b)을 나타내는 SEM 사진이다. 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 비대칭 전해질막의 SEM 사진은 산처리 후에 촬영되었으며, 다공성 층의 표면(b) 관찰 결과, 기공 크기가 5 ~ 10 μm임을 확인하였다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 조밀 층의 표면(a), 및 다공성 층의 표면(b)을 나타내는 SEM 사진이다. 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 비대칭 전해질막의 SEM 사진은 염기 처리 후에 촬영되었으며, 다공성 층의 표면 관찰 결과, 기공 크기가 5 ~ 10 μm임을 확인하였다.
도 7은 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 PEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 포함하는 막 전극 접합체의 구조를 보여주는 개략도이다.
도 8은 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 포함하는 막 전극 접합체의 구조를 보여주는 개략도이다.
도 9는 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 PEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 성능을, 기존의 상용막 Nafion 117과 re-casting 단일막과 비교하여 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 10은 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 성능을, mTPN1-TMA(Br form) 단일막과 비교하여 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 11은 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 PEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 물질 전달 저항과 ohmic 저항 값을, Nafion 117과 re-casting 단일막과 비교하여 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 12는 본 발명의 실시예에서 제조된 AEM 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 물질 전달 저항과 ohmic 저항 값을, mTPN1-TMA(Br form) 단일막과 비교하여 나타낸 그래프이다.
도 13은 본 발명의 일 구현예에 따른 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 포함하는 PEM 수전해 장치 및 AEM 수전해 장치의 구조를 보여주는 개략도이다.
Claims (20)
- 애노드 촉매;
캐소드 촉매; 및
상기 애노드 촉매 및 캐소드 촉매 사이에 위치하는 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막;을 포함하며,
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막은,
불소계 양이온 교환 수지를 포함하는 다공성 층; 및
불소계 양이온 교환 수지를 포함하는 조밀 층;을 포함하고,
상기 다공성 층은 기공을 포함하며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 상기 다공성 층 상에 구비되고, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 상기 조밀 층 상에 구비되며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 IrO2이며, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 Pt/C인, PEM 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 다공성 층의 기공 크기는 0.5 내지 20 ㎛인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 다공성 층의 공극률은 60 내지 80%인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 불소계 양이온 교환 수지는 나피온(Nafion), 푸마펨(Fumapem), 플레미온(Flemion), 아시플렉스(Aciplex) 및 아퀴비온(Aquivion)으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 하나 이상인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 애노드 촉매;
캐소드 촉매; 및
상기 애노드 촉매 및 캐소드 촉매 사이에 위치하는 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막;을 포함하며,
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막은,
탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지를 포함하는 다공성 층; 및
탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지를 포함하는 조밀 층;을 포함하고,
상기 다공성 층은 기공을 포함하며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 상기 다공성 층 상에 구비되고, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 상기 조밀 층 상에 구비되며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 IrO2이며, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 Pt/C인, AEM 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 다공성 층의 기공 크기는 0.5 내지 20 ㎛인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 다공성 층의 공극률은 60 내지 80%인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지는 페닐렌(Phenylene) 계, PBI(폴리벤지미다졸) 계, PES(폴리아릴렌에테르 술폰) 계, PPO(폴리페닐렌옥사이드) 계, PS(폴리스타이렌) 계 및 그의 블렌딩(Blending)으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택되는 하나 이상인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체. - 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항의 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체를 포함하는 PEM 수전해 장치.
- 제5항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항의 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체를 포함하는 AEM 수전해 장치.
- 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법으로서,
기판 상에 불소계 양이온 교환 수지, 용매 및 비용매를 포함하는 캐스팅 용액을 도포하는 단계;
상기 캐스팅된 막에서 용매를 제거하는 단계;
상기 용매가 제거된 막에서 비용매를 제거하여 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 제조하는 단계;
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 다공성 층 상에 애노드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계; 및
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 조밀 층 상에 캐소드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계;를 포함하며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 IrO2이며, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 Pt/C인, PEM 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 비용매를 제거하는 단계 이후,
상기 막을 산으로 처리하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 용매는 물, 메탄올, 에탄올, 프로판올로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상이며,
상기 비용매는 오쏘-디클로로벤젠(ortho-dichlorobenzene), 메타-디클로로벤젠(meta-dichlorobenzene), 파라-디클로로벤젠(para-dichlorobenzene), 나프탈렌 및 알파-나프톨로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 애노드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계 및 상기 캐소드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계는 각각 스프레이 도포에 의하여 수행되는, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법으로서,
기판 상에 탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지, 용매 및 비용매를 포함하는 캐스팅 용액을 도포하는 단계;
상기 캐스팅된 막에서 용매를 제거하는 단계;
상기 용매가 제거된 막에서 비용매를 제거하여 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 제조하는 단계;
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 다공성 층 상에 애노드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계; 및
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 조밀 층 상에 캐소드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계;를 포함하며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 IrO2이며, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 Pt/C인, AEM 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법으로서,
기판 상에 탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지 및 용매를 포함하는 제1 캐스팅 용액을 도포하는 단계;
상기 캐스팅된 막에서 용매를 제거하는 단계;
상기 용매가 제거된 막에 탄화수소계 음이온 교환 수지 및 용매를 포함하는 제2 캐스팅 용액을 도포하는 단계;
상기 제2 캐스팅 용액이 도포된 막을 비용매에 침지시켜 다공성 층을 형성한 후, 비용매를 제거하여 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막을 제조하는 단계;
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 다공성 층 상에 애노드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계; 및
상기 수전해 장치용 비대칭 전해질막의 조밀 층 상에 캐소드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계;를 포함하며,
상기 애노드 촉매는 IrO2이며, 상기 캐소드 촉매는 Pt/C인, AEM 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서,
상기 비용매를 제거하는 단계 이후,
상기 막을 염기로 처리하는 단계;를 더 포함하는, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서,
상기 용매는 디메틸포름아마이드, 디메틸아세트아미드, 다이메틸 설폭사이드 및 메틸피롤리돈으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상이며,
상기 비용매는 물, 알코올, 폴리에틸렌글리콜, 폴리비닐피로리돈, 스테아릴알코올, 콩 기름 및 글리세롤 및 디부틸 프탈레이트로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 하나 이상인, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서,
상기 애노드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계 및 캐소드 촉매를 구비시키는 단계는 각각 스프레이 도포에 의하여 수행되는, 수전해 장치용 막 전극 접합체 제조방법. - 삭제
