- 이차전지용 음극 활물질로서,
상기 음극 활물질은 인조 흑연 및 구형화 천연 흑연을 혼합한 것이고,
상기 구형화 천연 흑연의 평균 입경(D50)이 12㎛ 이하이고, D90-D10 값이 5 내지 12㎛이고,
상기 인조 흑연은 상기 음극 활물질의 전체 중량을 기준으로 하여 65 내지 85중량%로 포함되고, 상기 구형화 천연 흑연은 음극 활물질의 전체 중량을 기준으로 15 내지 35중량%로 포함되는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 삭제
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 천연 흑연의 평균 입경(D50)은 9 내지 11㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 천연 흑연의 D90-D10 값은 7 내지 9㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 천연 흑연의 탭 밀도는 1.10 내지 1.25g/cc인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 천연 흑연은 압연 후 집전체에 대한 접착력이 20 내지 35gf/cm인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 인조 흑연은 콜타르(coal tar), 콜타르 핏치(coaltar pitch), 석유 핏치(petroleum pitch) 또는 중유(heavy oil)를 열처리하여 제조된 핏치 코크스인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 구형화 천연흑연은 인편상의 천연흑연을 산이나 염기로 처리한 뒤, 구형화 장치에서 30 m/s 내지 100 m/s의 로터 속도(rotor speed)로 10분 내지 30분 동안 구형화시킴으로써 얻어진 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극 활물질. - 집전체 및 상기 집전체 상에 코팅된 음극 합제층을 포함하며,
상기 음극 합제층은 도전재, 바인더 및 제 1항에 따른 음극 활물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지용 음극. - 음극과, 양극, 상기 음극과 양극 사이에 개재된 분리막 및 전해질을 포함하며, 상기 음극은 제 9항의 음극인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차전지.
