Abstract
Description
도 1은 일반적인 고압 에틸렌 중합 시스템을 개략적으로 도시한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시양태들에 따른 반응기 시스템을 개략적으로 도시한다.
도 3은 약 450 KTA의 용량을 갖는 도 2의 것과 유사한 중합 반응기 시스템을위한 반응기 내의 질량속 분포(mass flux distribution)이다.
도 4는 도 3의 중합 반응기 시스템을 위한 반응기 시스템 내의 다양한 지점에서 시간에 따른 압력 감소의 그래프이다.
도 5는 약 420 KTA의 약간 더 작은 용량을 갖는 도 2의 것과 유사한 중합 반응기 시스템을 위한 반응기 내의 질량속 분포이다.

Claims (24)
- a. 적어도 하나의 반응 구역 및 적어도 하나의 냉각 구역을 포함하는 반응기와 유체 연결되는 압축기;
b. 반응기의 하류에 위치하는 제1 방압 밸브;
c. 냉각 구역 내에서 반응기를 따라 위치하는 제2 방압 밸브; 및
d. 반응기의 상류의 예열기
를 포함하는 반응기 시스템으로서, 예열기의 상류 또는 예열기와 반응기 사이에 방압 밸브를 갖지 않는 반응기 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 반응기의 총 내부 용적이 6 ㎥ 미만인 반응기 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반응기가 적어도 3개의 냉각 구역을 포함하고, 제2 방압 밸브가 냉각 구역 3 또는 더 하류의 냉각 구역에서 반응기를 따라 위치하는 것인 반응기 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반응기가 적어도 4개의 냉각 구역을 포함하고, 제2 방압 밸브가 냉각 구역 4 또는 더 하류의 냉각 구역에서 반응기를 따라 위치하는 것인 반응기 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 예열기의 입구에서의 작동 압력을 2000 bar 초과로부터 1000 bar 미만으로 10초 미만의 시간 내에 감소시킬 수 있는 반응기 시스템.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 압력 덤프 이벤트(pressure dump event) 동안 반응기 내에 정체 구역을 더 포함하는 반응기 시스템으로서, 정체 구역이 전체적으로 적어도 하나의 냉각 구역 내에 위치하는 것인 반응기 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서, 정체 구역의 위치가 압력 덤프 이벤트 동안 이동하지만, 전체적으로 냉각 구역 내에 남아 있는 것인 반응기 시스템.
- 적어도 하나의 반응 구역 및 적어도 하나의 냉각 구역을 포함하는 중합 반응기를 급속히 감압시키는 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
(i) 반응기의 하류에 위치하는 제1 방압 밸브를 개방하는 단계; 및
(ii) 적어도 하나의 냉각 구역 내의 반응기를 따라 위치한 제2 방압 밸브를 개방하는 단계로서, 선택적으로 제1 방압 밸브의 개방과 동시에 제2 방압 밸브를 개방하는 단계;를 포함하고,
예열기가 반응기의 상류에 위치하고, 방압 밸브가 예열기의 상류 또는 예열기와 반응기 사이에 위치하지 않는 것인 방법. - 제8항에 있어서, 제1 방압 밸브의 하류에 위치하는 고압 강하 밸브를 개방하는 단계로서, 선택적으로 제1 방압 밸브 및/또는 제2 방압 밸브의 개방과 동시에 고압 강하 밸브를 개방하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 제1 방압 밸브 또는 제2 방압 밸브 중 적어도 하나가 개방된 것을 확인한 후에 고압 강하 밸브를 부분적으로 또는 완전히 폐쇄하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 반응기의 상류에 있는 예열기의 입구에서의 작동 압력을 2000 bar 초과로부터 1000 bar 미만으로 10초 미만의 시간 내에 감소시키는 것인 방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서, 1차 및 2차 압축기가 반응기의 상류에 위치하고, 2차 압축기를 셧다운시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 2차 압축기가 적어도 하나의 석션 밸브를 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 석션 밸브를 폐쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서, 반응기가 적어도 하나의 공급 밸브를 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 공급 밸브를 폐쇄하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 반응기 내의 임의의 지점에서의 압력이 1500 bar 이하인 때에 적어도 하나의 공급 밸브를 폐쇄하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
