Claims (21)
- 개선된 염소화 효율을 제공하는, 폴리비닐 클로라이드의 입자를 제공하는 방법으로서,
i. 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 제공하는 단계, 상기 제공 단계는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 형성하는 비닐 클로라이드 단량체를 포함하는 활성 중합 혼합물을 포함함; 및
ii. 상기 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로의 전환율이 50%가된 후 염소화 촉진제를 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로 도입함으로써 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 제공하는 단계, 상기 도입 단계는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 적어도 500 중량ppm의 염소화 촉진제를 도입하는 것을 포함함;를 포함하는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드의 중간 입자 크기는 90 μm 내지 500 μm이고, 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드의 고유 점도는 0.50 dl/g 내지 1.40 dl/g이고, 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드의 다공도는 0.20 cc/g 내지 0.44 cc/g이고, 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드를 제공하는 단계가 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자의 수성 현탁액을 제공함을 포함하고, 여기서 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자가 물 속에 분산되고, 상기 염소화 촉진제를 도입하는 단계가 염소화 촉진제를 상기 수성 현탁액에 첨가함으로써 상기 염소화 촉진제를 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자와 회합시키고 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 제공하는 방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서, 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 상기 물로부터 분리시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 분리 단계가 상기 입자를 건조시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 염소화 촉진제를 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로 도입하는 단계가 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 상기 물로부터 분리시키는 상기 단계 전에 일어나는 방법.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 분리 단계는 원심분리 단계를 포함하며, 상기 염소화 촉진제를 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로 도입하는 단계는 상기 원심분리 단계 후 및 상기 건조 단계 전에 일어나는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자가 팽윤제를 함유하지 않는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 함께 회합된 촉진제를 갖는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자는 할로-탄화수소 화합물인 팽윤제를 함유하지 않는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 염소화 촉진제가 지방족 결합된 골격, 에테르-결합된 골격, 및 지방족 및 에테르 결합된 골격으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 결합된 골격에 부착된 하이드록실 그룹 작용성을 포함하는 비이온성 올리고머 또는 중합체인 방법.
- 삭제
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 염소화 촉진제가 폴리비닐 알콜, 부분 가수분해된 폴리(비닐 아세테이트) 단독중합체, 비닐 아세테이트 및 공단량체의 부분 가수분해된 공단량체, 열-처리된 부분 가수분해된 폴리(비닐 아세테이트) 단독중합체, 비닐 아세테이트 및 공단량체의 열처리된 부분 가수분해된 공중합체, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 폴리(알킬렌) 옥사이드, 하이드록시프로필 셀룰로즈, 하이드록시에틸 셀룰로즈, 하이드록시프로필 메틸셀룰로즈, 및 수용성 셀룰로즈 에스테르로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 함께 회합된 염소화 촉진제를 갖는 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자가 상기 입자 내로 흡수되고/되거나 상기 입자 상으로 흡착된 염소화 촉진제를 갖는 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 포함하는 방법.
- 삭제
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 염소화 촉진제를 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로 도입하는 단계가 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 적어도 1000 중량ppm의 염소화 촉진제를 도입시킴을 포함하는 방법.
- 삭제
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 제공하는 상기 단계가 (i) 물 속에 분산된 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 수성 현탁액을 제공하는 단계, (ii) 상기 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 중합을 개시하는 단계, 및 (iii) 상기 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 중합을 종결시키는 단계를 포함하며, 염소화 촉진제를 상기 수성 현탁액에 첨가하는 상기 단계가 상기 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 중합을 종결시키는 상기 (iii) 단계 후에 일어나는 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자를 제공하는 상기 단계는 제1 용기 내의 물 속에서 비닐 클로라이드 단량체를 중합시키는 것을 포함하고, 상기 방법은 상기 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자 및 물을 제2 용기로 전달하는 것을 더 포함하며, 상기 염소화 촉진제를 도입하는 단계는 상기 염소화 촉진제를 상기 제2 용기로 도입하는 것을 포함하는 방법.

- 청구항 1에 있어서, 염소화 촉진제를 첨가하는 상기 단계가 상기 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 폴리비닐 클로라이드 입자로의 전환율이 70%가된 후이지만 비닐 클로라이드 단량체의 중합을 종결시키는 단계 전에 일어나는 방법.
