Abstract
Description
도 2는 도 1의 LED 다이의 일반적인 램버시안 방출 패턴, 및 상이한 컬러 온도를 나타내는 인광체의 표면에 걸친 결과적인 인광체-변환 방출을 예시한다.
도 3은 LED 다이들을 포함하는 반사성 광-믹싱 박스의 단면도이며, 여기서 인광체 층이 LED 다이들 위에 제공되고, LED 다이들은 그것의 수직 축을 따른 각각의 다이의 플럭스는 감소시키고 소정의 각도에서의 플럭스는 증대시키기 위한 광학 구조체를 포함한다.

상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들, 상기 제1 광학 구조체, 및 상기 제1 파장 변환 층을 포함하는 반사성 광-믹싱 챔버 - 상기 광-믹싱 챔버는 반사성 베이스 및 적어도 하나의 반사성 측벽을 포함함 -
를 포함하고,
상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들과 상기 제1 광학 구조체의 조합에 의해 발생되는, 상기 제1 광 방출 프로파일을 갖는 광이 상기 제1 파장 변환 층 상에 충돌하고,
상기 광의 일부는 상기 제1 파장 변환 층을 통과하고, 상기 광의 일부는 상기 제1 피크 파장과는 상이한 파장의 광으로 변환되고,
상기 제1 광학 구조체는 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들 위에 형성된 투명 층을 포함하고, 상기 투명 층은 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들의 중심 부분 위의 원추형 오목부(conical indentation)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하고,
상기 발광 디바이스는, 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들에 부착되고 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들과 상기 제1 광학 구조체 사이에 제공되는, 고체 투명 층을 더 포함하고, 상기 고체 투명 층의 두께는 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들의 최대 선형 치수의 길이와 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는, 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 파장 변환 층은 평탄한 층인 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 파장 변환 층은 인광체 층을 포함하는 발광 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
적어도 제2 LED 반도체 층들;
상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들 위에 놓이는 제2 광학 구조체; 및
상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들, 상기 제1 광학 구조체, 상기 제1 파장 변환 층, 상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들 및 상기 제2 광학 구조체를 포함하고, 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들 및 상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들로부터의 광을 믹싱하기 위한 반사성 광-믹싱 챔버 - 상기 제2 광학 구조체는 상기 제1 파장 변환 층에 걸쳐 충돌하는 광의 균일성을 개선함 -
를 더 포함하는 발광 디바이스. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제1 파장 변환 층은 상기 제1 LED 반도체 층들과 상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들 양쪽 모두의 위에 놓이는 발광 디바이스. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들은 상기 제1 피크 파장과는 상이한 제2 피크 파장을 갖는 광을 발생시키는 발광 디바이스. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제1 광학 구조체와 상기 제2 광학 구조체는 단일 시트의 부분들인 발광 디바이스. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제2 광학 구조체는, 상기 제2 LED 반도체 층들이 상기 제2 광학 구조체와 조합하여 상기 제1 광 방출 프로파일과 동일한 제2 광 방출 프로파일을 생성하도록 상기 제1 광학 구조체와 동일하고, 상기 제1 광 방출 프로파일을 갖는 광과 상기 제2 광 방출 프로파일을 갖는 광은 상기 챔버에서 믹싱되는 발광 디바이스.
