Claims (16)
- 배향막 형성용 물질; 스페이서; 및 나노 입자를 포함하며,
상기 스페이서의 밀도는 상기 나노 입자의 밀도에 비해서 작고,
상기 나노 입자의 밀도는 1.5 g/cm3 내지 10 g/cm3의 범위 내에 있으며,
상기 나노 입자는 구상 입자 또는 하기 수식 1을 만족하는 입자인 코팅 조성물:

수식 1에서 LA는 나노 입자의 장축의 길이이고, SA는 나노 입자의 단축의 길이이다. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 배향막 형성용 물질이 러빙 배향막 형성용 물질 또는 광 배향막 형성용 물질인 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배향막 형성용 물질은 폴리이미드(polyimide) 화합물, 폴리비닐알코올(poly(vinyl alcohol)) 화합물, 폴리아믹산(poly(amic acid)) 화합물, 폴리스티렌(polystyrene) 화합물, 폴리아미드(polyamide) 화합물, 폴리옥시에틸렌(polyoxyethylene) 화합물, 폴리노르보넨(polynorbornene) 화합물, 페닐말레이미드 공중합체(phenylmaleimide copolymer) 화합물, 폴리비닐신나메이트(polyvinylcinamate) 화합물, 폴리아조벤젠(polyazobenzene) 화합물, 폴리에틸렌이민(polyethyleneimide) 화합물, 폴리에틸렌(polyethylene) 화합물, 폴리페닐렌프탈아미드(polyphenylenephthalamide) 화합물, 폴리에스테르(polyester) 화합물, CMPI(chloromethylated polyimide) 화합물, PVCI(polyvinylcinnamate) 화합물 및 폴리메틸 메타크릴레이트(polymethyl methacrylate) 화합물로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 하나 이상인 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 배향막 형성용 물질의 비율은 0.1 내지 10 중량%인 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 스페이서는 D50 입경이 1 μm 이상인 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 스페이서의 밀도는 1 g/cm3 내지 5 g/cm3의 범위 내에 있는 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 스페이서의 밀도(A) 및 나노 입자의 밀도(B)의 비율(B/A)은 1.5 내지 10의 범위 내에 있는 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 스페이서를 배향막 형성용 물질 100 중량부 대비 0.5 내지 10,000 중량부의 비율로 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 나노 입자의 D50 입경은 1μm 이하인 코팅 조성물.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 나노 입자를 배향막 형성용 물질 100 중량부 대비 0.01 내지 10,000 중량부의 비율로 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 용매를 추가로 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
- 기재층상에 제 1 항의 코팅 조성물을 사용하여 배향막을 형성하는 공정을 포함하는 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 배향막 형성 공정은, 기재층상에 형성된 코팅 조성물의 층을 열처리하는 공정과 열처리 후에 코팅 조성물에 배향 처리를 수행하는 공정을 포함하는 기판의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 기판; 상기 제 1 기판과 대향 배치되어 있는 제 2 기판; 및 상기 제 1 및 제 2 기판의 사이에 존재하는 광변조 물질을 포함하는 광학 디바이스로서,
상기 제 1 기판의 상기 제 2 기판에 대향하는 면 또는 상기 제 2 기판의 상기 제 1 기판에 대향하는 면에는 배향막이 형성되어 있고,
상기 배향막은, 배향막 형성용 물질; 스페이서; 및 나노 입자를 포함하며,
상기 스페이서의 밀도는 상기 나노 입자의 밀도에 비해서 작고,
상기 나노 입자의 밀도는 1.5 g/cm3 내지 10 g/cm3의 범위 내에 있으며,
상기 나노 입자는 구상 입자 또는 하기 수식 1을 만족하는 입자인 광학 디바이스:
