Claims (52)

- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 변형된 당은 2'-O-메톡시에틸 기를 포함하거나 또는 바이사이클릭 당인 화합물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 바이사이클릭 당이 4'-CH(CH3)-O-2' 기를 포함하거나, 또는 4'-CH2-O-2' 또는 4'-(CH2)2-O-2' 기를 포함하는 것인 화합물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 올리고뉴클레오타이드는 적어도 하나의 변형된 뉴클레오사이드간 연결을 포함하는 것인 화합물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 뉴클레오사이드간 연결은 포스포로티오에이트 뉴클레오사이드간 연결인 화합물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 올리고뉴클레오타이드가 적어도 하나의 변형된 핵염기를 포함하는 것인 화합물.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 핵염기가 5-메틸시토신인 화합물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 올리고뉴클레오타이드는
연결된 데옥시뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 갭 분절;
연결된 뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 5' 윙 분절; 및
연결된 뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 3' 윙 분절
을 포함하고,
여기서 상기 갭 분절은 5' 윙 분절과 3' 윙 분절 사이에 배치되고, 각각의 윙 분절의 각각의 뉴클레오사이드는 변형된 당을 포함하는 것인 화합물. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 변형된 올리고뉴클레오타이드는 서열번호: 703에 나열된 서열로 이루어진 핵염기 서열을 갖는 20개의 연결된 뉴클레오사이드로 이루어지고, 상기 변형된 올리고뉴클레오타이드는
10개의 연결된 데옥시뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 갭 분절;
5개의 연결된 뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 5' 윙 분절; 및
5개의 연결된 뉴클레오사이드로 이루어진 3' 윙 분절
을 포함하고,
여기서 상기 갭 분절은 5' 윙 분절과 3' 윙 분절 사이에 배치되고; 각각의 윙 분절의 각각의 뉴클레오사이드는 2'-O-메톡시에틸 당을 포함하고; 적어도 하나의 뉴클레오사이드간 연결은 포스포로티오에이트 연결이고; 각각의 시토신은 5-메틸시토신인 화합물. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단일-가닥인 화합물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항의 화합물을 포함하는, 인간에서 과잉의 성장 호르몬과 연관된 질환의 치료 또는 예방에 사용하기 위한 조성물.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 과잉의 성장 호르몬과 연관된 질환이 말단비대증인 조성물.
- 제15항에 있어서, 말단비대증을 치료하는 것이 IGF-1 수준을 감소시키는 것인 조성물.
- 제14항에 있어서, 인간에게 치료적으로 효과적인 양의 조성물을 투여하여 인간에서 성장 호르몬 수용체 (GHR) 수준을 감소시키는 것을 포함하는, 인간에서 GHR 수준을 감소시키는 데 사용하기 위한 조성물.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 인간이 과잉의 성장 호르몬과 연관된 질환을 가진 것인 조성물.
