Claims (5)
- 원심 주조법에 의해 형성한 외층과, 덕타일 주철로 이루어지는 내층이 용착 일체화된 원심 주조제 복합 롤로서,
상기 외층이, 질량 기준으로 1.3∼3.7%의 C, 0.3∼3%의 Si, 0.1∼3%의 Mn, 1∼7%의 Cr, 1∼8%의 Mo, 2.5∼7%의 V, 0.1∼3%의 Nb 및 0.1∼5%의 W 로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 적어도 일종으로서, V가 필수인 원소와, 0.01∼0.2%의 B 및/또는 0.05∼0.3%의 S를 함유하고, 잔부가 실질적으로 Fe 및 불가피한 불순물로 구성되는 Fe기 합금으로 이루어지고, 또한 상기 외층의 조직이 흑연을 함유하지 않고,
상기 내층이, 상기 외층에 용착된 동심(胴芯)부와, 상기 동심부의 양단으로부터 일체로 연장되는 구동측 축부 및 종동측 축부를 가지고,
상기 구동측 축부의 단부에 있어서의 Cr, Mo, V, Nb 및 W의 합계량이 0.35∼2 질량%이며, 상기 종동측 축부의 단부에 있어서의 Cr, Mo, V, Nb 및 W의 합계량이 0.15∼1.8 질량%이고, 전자가 후자보다 0.2 질량% 이상 많은,
원심 주조제 복합 롤. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 외층이, 질량 기준으로 0.1∼5%의 Ni, 0.1∼10%의 Co, 0.01∼0.5%의 Zr, 0.005∼0.5%의 Ti, 및 0.001∼0.5%의 Al 으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된 적어도 일종을 더 함유하는, 원심 주조제 복합 롤. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 기재된 원심 주조제 복합 롤을 제조하는 방법으로서,
(1) 회전하는 원심 주조용 원통형 주형으로 상기 외층을 원심 주조하는 단계, (2) 상기 외층을 가지는 상기 원통형 주형을 기립시키고, 그 상하단에 각각 상기 외층에 연통하는 상기 구동측 축부용의 하형(下型) 및 상기 종동측 축부용의 상형(上型)을 설치하여, 정치(stationary) 주조용 주형을 구성하는 단계, 및 (3) 상기 상형, 상기 외층 및 상기 하형으로 구성되는 캐비티에 상기 내층용의 용탕을 주입하는 단계를 포함하고,
상기 상형 내에 있어서의 용탕 면의 상승 속도가 100mm/초 이하이며, 상기 하형 및 상기 외층 내에 있어서의 용탕 면의 상승 속도보다 작은, 원심 주조제 복합 롤의 제조 방법. - 제3항에 있어서
상기 상형 내에 있어서의 용탕 면의 상승 속도와, 상기 하형 및 상기 외층 내에 있어서의 용탕 면의 상승 속도의 차가 50∼150mm/초인, 원심 주조제 복합 롤의 제조 방법. - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
상기 외층이, 0.01∼0.2 질량%의 B 및/또는 0.1∼0.3 질량%의 S를 함유하는, 원심 주조제 복합 롤.
