Abstract
Description
본 발명은 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, a) 이동 코어(moving core)(12)를 길이 방향으로 이동시키면서 이동 코어의 외측에 강화 필라멘트를 적용하는 단계; b) 상기 강화 필라멘트 및 코어 상으로 도프(dope)를 캐스팅(casting)하는 단계; c) 상기 도프로부터 막(membrane)(40)을 형성하는 단계; 및 d) 상기 코어(12)를 제거하는 단계를 포함한다. 또한, 상기 강화 필라멘트 상으로 상기 도프를 캐스팅하기 전에 상기 강화 필라멘트를 수축시키는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
도 2는 강화 케이지가 중공 수용성 코어 주위에 만들어진 전구체 사진이다.
도 3은 코어를 용해시킨 후 도 3에서의 강화 케이지 사진이다.

Claims (15)
- a) 이동하는 코어(moving core)(12)의 외측에 강화 필라멘트를 적용하는 단계;
b) 상기 강화 필라멘트 주위 및 코어 상으로 도프(dope)를 캐스팅(casting)하는 단계;
c) 상기 도프로부터 막(membrane)(40)을 형성하는 단계로서, 강화 필라멘트가 막에 봉입(embedded)되는, 단계; 및
d) 상기 코어(12)를 제거하는 단계
를 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 코어(12)가 가용성이고, 상기 코어를 제거하는 단계가 상기 코어를 용해시키는 것을 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 이동하는 코어(12)에 상기 강화 필라멘트를 적용하기 전에 상기 코어를 사전-랩핑(pre-wrap) 필라멘트로 랩핑하는 단계를 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트 주위로 도프를 캐스팅하는 단계 후에 상기 사전-랩핑 필라멘트를 제거하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가 워프(warp) 필라멘트 및 랩(wrap) 필라멘트를 포함하고, 상기 강화 필라멘트가 워프 얀(yarn)(26) 및 상기 워프 얀(26) 주위에 연속적 나선형으로 제공된 1개 이상의 랩 얀(32)을 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가, 상기 도프에 가용성인 중합체를 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가, 상기 도프에 사용되는 용매에 가용성인 중합체로 된 외층을 갖는 필라멘트를 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
a) 0.5 내지 1.0 mm의 코어(12) 외경;
b) 1.5 이상의, 막(40) 내경에 대한 막 외경의 비;
c) 코어의 전체 원주를 덮는, 4 내지 12개의 워프 얀(26);
d) 1.5 내지 4.5 mm 피치의 1 또는 2개의 랩 얀(32);
e) 코팅 전에 100℃ 이상의 온도에서 강화 필라멘트 수축;
f) 50℃ 이상의 온도에서 도프 코팅;
g) 20 psi 이하의 압력에서 도프 코팅; 및
h) 1.75 이하의, 코어 외경에 대한 다이 개구부(opening) 직경의 비
중 하나 이상의 한정사항이 적용되는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가 4 내지 12개의 워프 얀(26) 및 1.5 내지 4.5 mm 피치의 1 또는 2개의 랩 얀(32)을 포함하는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 코어(12) 및 강화 필라멘트가 상기 코어의 외경의 1.75배 이하의 다이(die) 개구부 직경을 갖는 코팅 헤드를 통과하는 동안, 상기 도프가 상기 강화 필라멘트 상에 코팅되는, 강화된 중공 섬유 막의 제조 방법. - a) 가용성 코어(12); 및
b) 상기 코어의 외측 주위에 배치된 강화 필라멘트
를 포함하되,
상기 강화 필라멘트가 서로 상이한 중합체로 된 중심부 및 외피를 갖는 2-성분 필라멘트를 포함하는, 중공 섬유 막을 제조하기 위한 전구체 어셈블리(precursor assembly). - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 코어(12)와 상기 강화 필라멘트 사이에 하나 이상의 사전-랩핑 필라멘트를 추가로 포함하는, 전구체 어셈블리. - 제 11 항 또는 제 12 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가 사전-수축된(pre-shrunk) 것인, 전구체 어셈블리. - 제 11 항 또는 제 12 항에 있어서,
상기 강화 필라멘트가, 워프 얀(26) 및 상기 워프 얀(26) 주위에 연속적 나선형으로 제공된 1개 이상의 랩 얀(32)을 포함하는, 전구체 어셈블리. - 제 14 항에 있어서,
