상기 침전조에서 배출된 폐수에 포함된 유기물을 혐기성 미생물을 사용하여 메탄 및 이산화탄소로 분해하는 혐기성 막 생물반응조;
상기 혐기성 막 생물반응조에 설치된 순환 배관 및 상기 순환 배관에 설치된 탈기 분리막을 포함하는 용존메탄 회수조로서, 상기 혐기성 막 생물반응조의 처리수에 포함된 용존메탄을 회수하는 용존메탄 회수조;
상기 혐기성 막 생물반응조에서 유출되는 유출수에 용해되어 있는 메탄을 추가로 회수하고, 유출수의 용존 산소(DO: dissolved oxygen) 농도를 증가시키며, 유출수의 생물학적 반응성을 줄이는 스트리퍼;
및
상기 스트리퍼에서 유출되는 유출수 내의 질소 및 인을 제거하는 질소/인 제거장치;

상기 혐기성 막 생물반응조에 설치된 순환 배관 및 상기 순환 배관에 설치된 탈기 분리막을 포함하는 용존메탄 처리조에서, 상기 단계 2에서 얻은 처리수를 상기 탈기 분리막에 투과시켜 인시츄 탈기(in situ degassing)하여 상기 처리수에 용존되어 있는 수소 및 이산화탄소를 제거하고, 94% 농도의 메탄을 회수함으로써 상기 단계 2에서 얻은 처리수에 포함된 용존메탄을 처리하는 단계(단계 3);
스트리퍼에서, 상기 단계 3을 거친 처리수 내의 용존메탄을 추가로 회수하고, 유출수의 DO 농도를 증가시키며, 유출수의 생물학적 반응성을 줄이는 단계(단계 4);
질소/인 제거장치에서 상기 단계 4를 거친 유출수 내의 질소 및 인을 제거하는 단계(단계5);
를 포함하고,
상기 단계 3의 탈기 분리막에서의 투과 형태는 내강측 유동(lumen-side flow)인 것을 특징으로 하는 혐기성 하수처리 방법.
