Claims (22)
- 전자 장치 내에 또는 전자 장치와 함께 사용하기 위한 기판으로서, 기판은 300℃ 초과의 유리 전이 온도 및 ±0.002 미만의 면외 복굴절(out-of-plane birefringence)을 갖는 유기 가용성 폴리이미드(organo-soluble polyimide)를 포함하고, 유기 가용성 폴리이미드는 하나 이상의 지환식 이무수물 및 하나 이상의 방향족 카르도 디아민으로 이루어지며, 폴리이미드는 하기 일반 구조를 갖고:
[상기 식에서, Ac는 하기 구조로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되고,
카르도는 하기 구조로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되며,
상기 식에서, n=1-4이고, R은 수소, 할로겐, 알킬, 치환된 알킬, 니트로, 시아노, 티오알킬, 알콕시, 치환된 알콕시, 아릴, 치환된 아릴, 에티닐, 페닐에티닐, 알킬 에스테르, 치환된 알킬 에스테르, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되며,
n이 4 미만인 경우 방향족 고리 상의 나머지 위치는 수소 원자이고, 각 R은 동일하거나 상이할 수 있다.]
60분 미만 동안 300℃에 노출된 기판은 400 내지 750 nm에서 80% 초과의 투과율을 갖고, 투명하고, 플렉시블한 것인 기판. - 제1항에 있어서, 전자 장치는 평판 디스플레이(flat panel display), 조명 장치, 광기전 장치, 또는 입출력 장치인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기판은 25 미크론 이상의 두께 및 80% 초과인 400 내지 750 nm에서의 투과율을 갖는 것인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기판은 60 ppm/℃ 미만의 열팽창 계수를 갖는 것인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 지환식 이무수물은 1,2,3,4-시클로펜탄테트라카르복실산 이무수물, 1,2,4,5-시클로헥산테트라카르복실산 이무수물, 및 비시클로[2.2.2]옥트-7-엔-2,3,5,6-테트라카르복실산 이무수물을 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 방향족 카르도 디아민은 9,9-비스(4-아미노페닐)플루오렌, 9,9-비스(4-아미노-3-플루오로페닐)플루오렌, 및 9,9-비스(4-아미노-3-메틸페닐)플루오렌으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 폴리이미드는 방향족 이무수물을 추가로 포함하는 것인 기판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 폴리이미드는 비카르도 방향족 디아민을 추가로 포함하는 것인 기판.
- 전자 장치 내에 또는 전자 장치와 함께 사용하기 위한 기판으로서, 기판은 300℃ 초과의 유리 전이 온도 및 ±0.001 미만의 면외 복굴절을 갖는 유기 가용성 폴리이미드를 포함하는 단일 중합체 층, 및 유리를 포함하는 유리 층으로 필수적으로 이루어지고, 유기 가용성 폴리이미드는 하나 이상의 지환식 이무수물 및 하나 이상의 방향족 카르도 디아민을 포함하며, 폴리이미드는 하기 일반 구조를 갖고:

60분 미만 동안 300℃에 노출된 기판은 400 내지 750 nm에서 80% 초과의 투과율을 갖고, 플렉시블한 것인 기판. - 제9항에 있어서, 상기 단일 중합체 층은 2 미크론 이상의 두께를 갖는 것인 기판.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 유리 층은 20 미크론 이상의 두께를 갖는 것인 기판.
